The location is wonderful and the view from the rooms overlooking the Guadiana River will be the highlight of your stay. I had stayed here before so when I booked I called them and insisted to get one of the upper floor rooms as my previous experience in the lower floor rooms was not good at all. When contacting the...

I was here together with a group of 10 friends amid a bicycle trip down the Guadiana river. The place was very well located, with an astonishing view (right in front of the river), clean and the host was very very helpful and nice to us. Breakfast was good, although in line with price range. Do not forget to see...

I just checked in and already I love it! The guest services were inviting, friendly and super informative. Clean, organized and the upgrade was a bonus. Can't wait to wake up and see the view of the river! At night you can hear the frogs croaking, the fish making bubbles jumping in the river, the cows shaking their bells and...

We stayed here 3 nights and were quite satisfied. We had one of the 4 rooms on the main level with a large terrace. It had 2 singles pushed together and a third single. The room and bathroom were large enough, clean and functional. The beds were comfortable. The view over the river was delightful. A herd of 18 goats...

A pre-booked overnight stay here was perfect for our needs. We had a corner top-floor room with 2 balconies that overlooked the river to the front, and the castle to the side. The room was clean and tidy, minimal toiletries, the bed rather hard and on a par with a mortuary slab (a typical Portuguese hotel bed though....). It is...

The hotel next door (Museo) and this hotel are essentially the same business sharing reception, bar etc. The Museo is a bit more upmarket. The rooms in the Beiro are fairly basic but the furnishings are fine. All clean tidy and bathrooms although small again clean and functional. Well decorated. We had two rooms, one with a big balcony overlooking...

The room i got was no more than 3/5. However, the view was wonderful and i got a small cozy balcony! Near to everything. Good breakfast in the morning, can sit outside with a view and enjoy it. Staff not very cheerful but at the same time not rude either.

We stayed here as part of a bird and plant holiday organised by a leading uk nature holiday company. As described in other reviews the hotel is in two buildings with a terrace area between them. The reception area and bar are in the interesting Museo section and the breakfast area in the other. I say interesting because it has...

I was very glad to stay in Residencial Beira Rio. The room has a lot of space, the bed and sheets are really comfortable and the shower is amazing. Old house but comfortable and beautiful. My room had a lovely terrace with a view. I really felt relaxed. The people of the hotel are kind and very helpful. And, I...
