The Twelve is an eclectic blend of themes that blend very well together assisted by the extremely courteous and helpful staff. From the moment of checking in and the pleasant attitude exhibited by the receptionist describing The Twelve and it’s various facilities, to the most tasteful tasting (with delicious accompanying wine selections) served by an engaging and knowledgeable head waiter, to an afternoon snack and breakfast, the personnel exuded a great love of their respective job and performed with such professionalism. The Twelve was an excellent and enjoyable experience.

We came for the weekend and had a fabulous stay at this hotel. We were instantly impressed with the decor which you could see was tasteful, expensive and unique! The lady who checked us in offered us a lovely fruit drink and directed us to our rooms. The room was so spacious and the bed, a king-size, incredibly comfortable. Tea and coffee available with a kettle in the room was replenished daily. The shower is so important to me and I wasn't disappointed - it was powerful and hot. The TV had freeview channels, but ITV and Channel 4 didn't work, however, this wasn't something that we were bothered about. I really liked the fact that there was plenty of plug sockets and most important was there was a big mirror near a plug-socket for straightening/drying hair. The towels were thick and fluffy as was the dressing gowns which always indicate that the hotel provides 'quality' linen for guests. The breakfast was amazing!! The quality of the cooked breakfast is probably what sets this hotel apart in that it's in the Mitchelin Guide and you can tell! A small detail I suppose, but I really loved the music played in the background throughout the hotel - it was relaxing, but tunes I knew and liked so it just added to the ambience. Finally and the cherry on the cake as the final goodbye with a voucher for a free take-away coffee from their own bakery!! It felt like the hotel wanted to ensure our experience was a good one from the moment we arrived to the very end. Staff were pleasant, friendly and couldn't do enough. This hotel was definitely as good as any 5* hotel I've been to and I've been to quite a few -so yes I'd highly recommend it and I'll be returning soon…

Amazing hotel for you to have a holiday with you doggie !! They treat your pet so well. The suites are a perfect size for everyone to relax after one of many beautiful walkies !! Also anyone looking to get some exercise in please check out sync fitness. It's only a 2 mins walk from hotel

Great place, eclectic with interesting art. Very friendly staff, excellent food and great location near Galway and easy to get to. Rooms were spotlessly clean and spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable I'd return in a heartbeat.

Nice and cosy hotel, luxury restaurant, good breakfast, they take care of our stay. Breakfast and bar are good as well. Location is not downtown but in a relaxed country are that we have really enjoed.

It was the best Hotel on our Trip. The rooms were very Special and the Food was delicious. We Stayed for 2 nights, Check-In was fast and uncomplicated. The staff was friendly and helped us. I would book there again
