My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay at Bernadette's Abbeyville B&B, May 20-22, 2017. This is a beautiful home in a great location for exploring Galway and the coastline of the Connemara Peninsula. Bernadette is a wonderful hostess, and loves to share information about the area with her guests. Breakfasts were fantastic, and included freshly baked scones which were fabulous! Our room was comfortable and spotless. Hope to return to this special place sometime in the future!

We were so pleasantly surprised with the comfort and accommodations that Bernadette provided. Her house is tucked away just off a main street in Barna (beautiful, idyllic coastal town just a few miles from Galway) with a gorgeous garden. She was very attentive during breakfast and a fabulous cook. You can tell she is very detail oriented and we found out that she does most (all?) of the amazing artwork in the home. Bernadette is a very talented woman! Would definitely return.

This was our fourth stop on a recent trip through Ireland, absolutely amazing. Bernadette was so welcoming and just a lovely person. She was so sweet and thoughtful, she even offered to let us drink red wine on her brand new white sofa 😀(we politely declined and decided to sip our wine on the outdoor table in the grass since the weather was so lovely). Room was very clean and super comfortable. Breakfast was amazing, she offered the typical Irish breakfast and yogurt, cereal and homemade scones. The scones were scrumptious. Her hospitality was outstanding. Would love to return. Also walking distance to town with nice restaurant and bar choices.

We want to tell the WORLD that Bernadette and the Abbeyville B&B is the BEST in our recent visit to Ireland.... Our 2 night stay was comfortable and welcoming and Bernie was more than helpful in offering suggestions for our daily travel route. We immediately felt at home. The Breakfast was delicious especially the fresh made brown bread, scones and French press coffee!!! We loved the whole area and there are fun pubs within walking distance that are fabulous too. This was the first of our stops in a 16 day stay and we wish everywhere was as wonderful as Abbeyville was.... We loved it there and hope someday we will be able to return!

My dad and I stayed in Abbeyville last night on our way to Inis Mór. We had a really lovely stay. Bernadette was very welcoming and the rooms were very comfortable. The breakfast was the highlight for me. Freshly cooked breakfast with homemade brown bread and scones hot out of the oven. Delicious! We both agreed that we will be back. I would highly recommend this b&b.
