We stayed at Bayplay cottages for a family weekend away. Upon arrival we were happy with the location and ample parking. The facilities were very budget and could definitely use some work. And for the price paid we believe sheets and towels should be included. The shower/laundry floor is rotten near the shower, which we almost put our foot through... More

we stayed here with our ladies camp for church, hard to find places that are a reasonable price to suit us all, and affordable. We used the pool, which we had to tell in advance so they could warm it up for us. Only things l can say in our room, one bed was missing some slats so rather squeaky... More

I celebrated my 40th birthday with friends and family at the Bay Play lodge property (including the cottage). Whist we very much enjoyed our stay at the property, it can certainly do with a little renovation. The Good: 1. Size of the property 2. Secure backyard where children can play safely. 3. Very large kitchen with two sinks and two... More

Thanks for your comments. We are glad your birthday was an enjoyable weekend. The shared pool is used by the dive school on a saturday morning when we suggest groups enjoy the stunning beach at the end of the street (500m). It is stipulated on our website and it is a bit hard to make sure all group members know... More

The accommodation is cheap, though it would have been nice to know that the pool is only available upon request prior to booking it on Agoda (this information was provided by management after booking). In saying that, Im not sure I would want to swim in it as it appeared not to be cleaned in a while (lots of muck... More

We were part of a large family group (ages 77 to 1 year old) and we all agreed that Bayplay was a perfect place for our get together. It was clean, spacious, near beach & shops, with double kitchen facilities, secure grassed area & a warm clean pool. The office staff who handled our various booking requests were friendly, helpful,... More

I stayed at Bayplay Lodge in July 2013. We were a group of seven families with fifteen kids (mostly aged between 2 and 8) and 14 adults. Bayplay Lodge was perfect for us. Each couple had a room each and we even had rooms left over to create a 'girls dorm' and a 'boys dorm'. With the two large living... More

We had a large family gathering and it was a great set up, with lots of space for everyone. It was clean, with all you need in the kitchen, and a large secure outdoor area for the kids to use. It was also close to some good shops. Carmel V

“The Cottage: The BayPlay cottage is affordable & in a great location. Quiet as it is off the main street yet very close to the seaside towns of Mornington Peninsula. The cottage is practical & although I didn't have a problem with it myself, I should say that the kitchen is small & there is no pantry storage which could be an issue for a large family on an extended stay. There is a great front/back yard & though pet friendly the fence would not contain a small dog as they can easily fit underneath the gate. Pretty good facilities, it was large and comfortable enough.”
