I traveled to Tokyo alone, and I booked my first two nights at this capsule hotel, for a true Japanese experience. That is EXACTLY what I got. I have to admit, it was a bit scary. Actually being in a capsule is not scary (unless...More

Stayed here for one night, could have stayed here longer. Good value for money, cheapest accommodation in Tokyo. Good location next to subway, and 24 hour check in/check out. Stayed here for the novelty factor, to try an alternative type of accommodation. Enjoyed the experience....More

Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old
Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa.
Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit
a variety of different museums and galleries. At
Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the
grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed
alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at
the end of the year, when many people go on shopping
