We travel big family 30 of us. Our trip from osaka - tokyo - osaka. We had to take 12 rooms. Love this place. Very convenient. Close to the train station. Less than 5 min waking. Mcdonald and Family mart also nearby. Room quite spacious. Compare to our previous apa osaka hotel. Amenities was good. Clean as japan can be. Dont mind to stay at this place again.

I’ve stayed in other APA hotels before and this has to be the least pleasant one I’ve stayed in. We booked for five nights but checked out after one night. Pros - Next to JR train station - Quiet neighbourhood with some choices of eateries and convenience stores Cons - It’s a very old hotel but no excuse to not keep it clean and well maintained. I found hair on my pillow. - I sink into the bed when I sleep and the pillow is so flat that it’s literally not a pillow. Woke up with an aching back. - Leaking pipes for the shower, I was using hot and cold water. Imagine having very hot water on your feet while you shower.. not pleasant at all. - Dusty; somehow the room is dusty and so is the air conditioner. There’s probably inches thick of dust in it so the air conditioner doesn’t function as well. Also, it’s not exactly a very cheap hotel. I don’t expect anything great, but at least.. it should look similar to the illustration/photos posted on their websites. To me, Japanese hospitality and cleanliness has always been great. It’s not my first trip to Tokyo but this is the trip that I enjoyed the least.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a better value hotel for the location: one stop from Ikebukuro on the Yamanote Line, and 30 metres from Itabashi Station. Nice room for the price. (Plenty of overseas visitors will say it's small, but it's a business hotel in reasonably-central Tokyo.) Great spot to base yourself from. Breakfast choice is basic but does the job.

Double room which we stayed was too small for two adults. There was no space to from bed to wall and we couldn't walk in the room. If the person is Claustrophobia,I strongly don't recommend to stay there.

Would be good for solo travelers. Room barely fit x2 29-inch luggage, no walking space for two. No extra luggage stand upon request hence x1 of the luggage is on the floor. Overall the location is good as it is near the Itabashi station which barely takes 5 minutes to reach. A daily-mart located just 1 minute walked away. Will reconsider coming again.

Location was excellent and despite the room being very small in the Hollywood Twin, it was very comfortable and it had everything we needed. The beds were great. Staff were great and there were lots of places to eat nearby. If you have 2 large suitcases maybe get a different room, but if a small place doesn't bother you (I'm more a sleep only not longue in the hotel person) then this is great! Very reasonable prices.

The hotel is at 1-minute walk from JR Itabashi Station, and there are many restaurants around us. The room is designed to be comparatively compact to be functional. The guests can reach almost everything in room from a bed. We have two types of twin room. The one is Hollywood twin, the other is Deluxe twin. If you want to stay in larger room, we kindly advise you to book Deluxe twin. Thank you for your precious opinion this time. We are looking forward to seeing you again. Front Inoue

Booked 2 smoking rooms at this hotel for a vacation with my 3 other friends. Made several communications through email, the staffs are responsive and clear in explaining. Arrived at the hotel around 9 PM, the front office staffs did all the work quickly so we could rest early. The hotel locations just right next small stations, but the line is connected to the major part of the city (Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, Shibuya). The neighborhood of this hotel is housing area, so when the night falls, this area is very quiet, which we really love it after all the hustle and bustle of the city. There's a park nearby, a good place to hang out and have supper from mcdonald's or food from the convenience store. The hotel room itself is very small, just like other hotel rooms in Tokyo. The hotel is a bit old-ish. In overall the room is very clean, the bathroom is also clean and the amenities are complete. Love all the detail they put. Wi-fi connections are fast, but there were some kinks when new customers are coming. It seems the new customers are hogging the bandwidth so it made the connections a bit unstable. But overall I like this hotel, a good base for exploring the city.

It's a comfortable place to rest your head but don't expect friendly service. The rooms are clean enough but be careful when you book (especially through hotels.com) because if you're not careful you'll end up in a smoking room and they are terrible! The price is great and there are tons of great retardants and shops close by. This is a quiet, residential neighborhood and a great base to explore tokyo because after a day in the craziness that is Shibuya, Shinjuku or Ginza it's nice to escape.

Please do not stay in this hotel. My shoes got stolen from the room and there was no help from the staff. When asked, they told me they had such incidents previously too. There is no safe, no phone inside the room and they take no responsibility of your luggage even within the room. When I tried to search for my shoes, there were socks and other stuffs under the bed belonging to guests who stayed previously. The manager was not present at hotel even at 7AM in the morning and did not pick the phone when receptionist tried to call them. I had to leave for airport to catch my flight at 7:00AM but they could not resolve the issue even at 8:00AM. Finally I left without shoes as their room cleaning staff did not come till 8 in the morning and they could not verify whether my shoes are really stolen.. What a Pathetic hotel!!
