The hotel is located next to Ikebukuro station. It's a little hard to get around as there are a few lines that pass there. Ask the hotel staff how to get to the station you need. The hotel itself is very comfortable, the rooms are quite big. Shops are plentiful in the area.

The hotel overall was clean, and the location is near Ramen that always has a long queue, Mutekiya. The breakfast on 2nd floor was good, they only serve Japanese food. They also have international buffet on the 1st floor.

I visited this hotel more than 10 times I believe. Its excellent service, room and location are the reasons behind the frequent visit. The breakfast is a great mixture between American and Japanese breakfast. The underground train and shopping malls are only 5 mins walk from the hotel. Highly recommend for those who love shopping!

Dear Guest, I am deeply distressed to hear about your experience, and offer my deepest and sincerest apologies for the rooms. I have addressed these issues with the housekeeping department, and for now on inspections will take place more meticulously. Currently room renovations are occurring on the 14th and 15th floor. Last year, the 16th, 17th, 22nd, and 23rd floor... More

We arrived at the hotel in the early evening after a very long and arduous journey and were looking forward to falling into to bed to sleep. On check in we were informed that we were in a smoking room. Neither of us being smokers we asked for a non smoking room. Sadly, there appeared not to be a suitable... More

Perfect choice for those who are not familiar with Tokyo Metro system cause there are Limousin bus to drive you to the hotel entrance directly. (ticketing @ 2nd Fl, Arrival of Haneda Airport). Return ticket can be also reserved in hotel lobby. Across the street from hotel you may easily find Lumine (department store) constructed together with Ikebukuro station (West... More

We stayed here for 9 nights in October. It's a brilliant hotel. It's in a good location, close to shops, and most importantly the station. The rooms were a good size and the staff were very friendly and helpful and would go out of the way to meet your needs. I'd stay here again, definitely.

Stayed here first night in Japan after flying into Narita. Took the Narita Express from the airport to Ikebukuro Station. Used my Rail Pass Which covered the fare. Hotel is a few minutes from the station if you take the closest exit. Hotel interior is upscale and the rooms were very nice and decent sized by Tokyo standards. Bathtub was... More

I use to reach this hotel very late and leave early. This is fine for them. This time, I arrived at 12. The staff did not provide me a room as check in is at 3pm. It was possible but with extra charge! I have never seen that with corporate rate

I've stayed here four times now on my visits to Japan and I am always delighted to be back. Staying in Ikebukuro

Neighbourhood Profile
Ikebukuro
Ikebukuro is an area of massive development. Several thousand tenants occupy two giant department stores and shopping malls, where all sorts of shopping and gourmet foods can be enjoyed. The 60-story building at the east entrance of the station, Sunshine City, is a landmark within Ikebukuro and features an aquarium, planetarium, theme park as well as an observation platform. The popular name for the western side of this area is "Otome Road" (Maiden Road) and there are many shops selling products related to anime with a female theme.
