We've reserved for non smoking room, but the smell of smoking was quite a lot and make me couldn't sleep. Others were just find. Staffs were helpful. Just about smoking's smell, if you cannot stand with this kind of smell all night or if you didn't get use to with this smell, you should consider a lot about this hotel.

Overall decent experience, though hotel room is a little pricey for the size. But location was central and accessible to train stations. When i requested for early check in, the staff did not say no, but upon realising that it was a short stay of 2 nights, he immediately said not possible without even checking. Slightly disappointed with that.

It is a must for you to stay at this hotel if you are looking not only for convenience as it is just a shortwalk from Shinjuku JR station and whatever you are looking for, the Shinjuku area can offer you. I will definitely stay at this hotel again for my next Tokyo trip.

The hotel room was a bit small but it is located in the center of Shinjuku and close to train and bus station. The room was clean, with Shiseido toilettries, western style pillow, good and stable wifi. It is also close to mini market and restaurants. It also offered a great service. We planned to go outside Tokyo and go...

This hotel is the best hotel. The price of the room is affordable. The hotel very clean and very close to the city centre. It easy to travel to other city by train. Reception staff are very friendly. Food and Beverage staff very friendly. I definitely will return back and stay here again.

Stayed for two nights. Check in only took moments and the hotel staff were lovely and helpful. The room was definitely aged and small, with some lights not working in the room. The AC also only had low medium or high with no temperature control making it extremely hot in the room. On a positive, the rooms were extremely clean,...

After a bad experience in a budget hotel in Shinjuku, IBIS is a refreshing change. The hotel was recently refurbished and the finishing was perfect. Small details like extended hanging bar for clothes, tiered cupboards for more storage and bedside USB charging ports. The check in was smooth as i was kindly aided by Mr Sasaki-san for my bookings for...

Checked in on Dec 30 2016 and stayed for 3 nights. We had a very tight double room but the location of the hotel made up for it. It's just steps away from the subway and there is a lot to do in Shinjuku. The lobby restaurant has very uncomfortable seating and feels a bit like a cafeteria. When we...

We have stayed in ibis countless times here in Australia whenever travelling interstate. But this was by far the worst we had experienced. We stayed here for 6 nights from 28th Dec to the 2nd and we decided to get the room service done every alternate day. The first night we found fresh yukata but after they took that away...

The room was clean, comfort but little small. Easy to go elsewhere because of the location is near Shinjuku train station. Breakfast is okay, delicious but do not much of selection. The staffs are very helpful. Love this place!!

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
