Expensive but perhaps THE highlight of our trip to Tokyo. View from the room, the gym, the bar etc. is amazing. Breakfast choice was a little narrow, great coffee though. Would absolutely stay here again, 100%.

This hotel is located on the higher floors of a big tower in Shinjuku. The location is good, central to shopping, sights and restaurants. Check-in was very quick and efficient, nice welcome by staff. All staff enbcountered were very discreet, well-trained and professional. Everyone is standing by to assist. You will not see loud-talking employees playing around together, loudly laughing...

Yes I watched lost in translation. In fact, I am obsessed with the movie. As a foreign girl living here, I can relate. Came to this amazing bar so many times and will keep on doing. Cover charge of 2400 JPY is a little expensive but the jazz music and the view are worth it.

My wife and I stayed in this lovely property in Feb 2017 for 4 days in a split business and personal trip. The location, service, and features are all very good and whenever I told someone locally where I was staying they were all generally impressed and remarked about the Park Hyatt being the nicest hotel in Tokyo. We had...

Fantastic experience and the concierge was able to get us great seats in an excellent restaurant! Kyubey was a tremendous experience (Ginza original) and would have been extremely difficult to book on our own last minute!

I read hundreds of reviews of the top 5 star hotels in Tokyo and had a difficult time deciding which would be the most wonderful experience to end our vacation in Japan. I was torn between all of them but finally decided to book the PH Tokyo. It was wonderful. The service was amazing and the room was beautiful. We...

We stayed in park king deluxe room, the room was spacious and comfy with all amenities you might need and Nespressso machine. We stayed here already 3 times and found out that to make a booking with our local agency, we got around 40% less compared to book on the website and with breakfast included. There is a free shuttle...

My partner and I are luxury hotel aficionados and repeat travelers to Japan, and this was our second stay at the PH Tokyo (last time was January 2016). On this trip, we experimented with three different high-end hotels, beginning with the Aman, testing out the Andaz Toranomon Hills (gracias Hyatt points), and finishing in a Park Deluxe King room at...

Great Hotel, fantastic views and very attentive members of staff. However, couple of criticisms: - Food and beverages is grossly overpriced, particular in the American Grill where we paid over $30 for a bottle of water! - the hotel charge a further 4,000Y (plus tax and service charge) to use the Spa. Why charge guests MORE money when they are...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
