I have not been there for a while. The last time I was there, the room door are still open with keys. They upgraded the key system to keycard system. That was the only major changes that I see. The rest of the room is the familiar design. Nothing can fault this hotel with its location. it so closed to...

While Tokyo has three Hyatt properties, we found Hyatt Regency is very reasonably priced and you can redeem the room for a mere 12,500 points; Adjacent to the Government Metropolitan Building; You have free views of the City in the day as well as night up to 11:00PM from 45th floor; Hyatt Regency also offers a short 10 minute walk...

Very comfortable for business stay. Very quiet and clean. The staff were very helpful in assisting with my travel and transportation during my stay. I would find this as an excellent option for any future stay in Tokyo.

This was my first trip to Japan and it didn't disappoint. The people and culture is something everyone needs to experience. I travelled for business and I'd highly recommend this hotel, excellent location and fantastic service.

Hyatt Regency Tokyo is very accessible. You can use the Airport limousine bus which can drop you off directly to the hotel. There is a subway station (Tochomae) directly below the hotel. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Shinjuku station every 20 minutes. We got a View Twin room with extra bed and it was big enough for...

The hotel is strategically located within the walking distance to gadgets shopping district. Shops like Yodobashi, Map Camera are all within 15 minutes walk. Opposite this hotel, the observatory tower are the place where you get to see the whole Tokyo City. This is one of the tallest spot in Shinjuku or even Tokyo before the Tokyo tower were built....

We were only here for one night in the hopes of making it to the Golden Gai for a night on the town. Turns out Jet lag got the best of us and there was no way we were going to start our night at 9pm so we wandered towards Shinjuku station and found a few blocks of lively streets....

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
