The standard room that we initially booked was really small. It was so small that there was no room to put our luggage except for the tiny small between the two single beds. So we went to the front desk to see if there were any available bigger rooms for upgrade. Thankfully, there were deluxe rooms available (the biggest they...

The good: greener cleaning option which gives you Y500 voucher per day if you skip your room clean. Renovated rooms. Close to three Shinjuku stations, although can be tricky to find (you'll need the EAST EXIT at Main Shinjuku station). Staff are friendly although there are only some that speak English well. There is a 7-11 and a Family mart...

As with all of the hotels so far, this one was no exception. Very classy, and the staff so friendly. No issues at all. We would gladly stay here again, and it is close to the subway and tons of shopping.

Stayed one week in October. The rooms are really really really small. But the room is clean. And it was cleaned every day. But the room i was in on the 14th floor, i think, was not that quiet. You could hear the train, and the music from kabukicho 13 floors below. I was quite surprised by that. So if...

If you're looking for great location then yes come here. It's really perfect for going out and going for business meetings (I was here on business). However : - The hotel looks like it needs refurbishing. The lobby looks really old and wifi is only in the lobby area. Otherwise there is internet connection via cable in your room... -...

I loved my stay at the Shinjuku Prince Hotel. I stayed there 3 nights after attending a conference in Yokohama. The hotel excels in three very important aspects. First, the location is awesome. It is very close to the Shinjuku train station, a very easy 3 minute walk to/from the correct exit even while pulling luggage behind me. It is...

Very good and convenient location. Room was a bit small but that is expected in Tokyo. Location was close to everything. Toilet and shower is like being in a plane! Shinjuku we liked best for the shopping. There are a few Ramen restaurant directly across from hotel which were very nice. I think we ate in all of them!

We spent 3 nights here on our 2 week trip to Japan. The location is excellent and the price per night is pretty low. Hotel has really nice views on higher floors. This hotel does not provide anything extra but everything works flawlessly.

Okay, admittedly I am a little late on this review but as an avid traveler I have to say I had a great time at the Shinjuku Prince for my fiancees 30th bday last year. Yes the rooms are small (but most hotels outside of the USA are small) but they are clean. Upon check in ask for the upgraded...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
