So sad to be given a room at the ground floor although we have requested for upper floor unit 2 months ago. The building allows free entry to the building at any time. The staff left at 6 pm. The room's paper-thin door faces the common passageway to the lift area. In the middle of the night and early morning,...

The apartments are small and compact but has everything you need for a weeks stay! The kitchen is well equipped with a job, microwave, kettle and rice cooker plus cooking implements and the bathroom has a good shower, albeit a little hard for my partner at 6 foot 3 to use! There are 2 single beds in the room which...

Regretted picking this place for 3-night stay. The only merit is the location, 1 minute walk to East shinjuku subway. The room was humid, tired and not clean enough. The mattress was dated and we can even feel the spring. There was sound emitted from the bed when we moved a bit. The bed sheet and pillow case were not...

Great location, 10 min walk from JR Shinjuku, Seibushijuku station, Shinokubo station, and shopping district. Plenty of restaurants nearby, a 7 eleven and a family mart convenience stores within 2 to 5 min walking distance. First day, the person at the front desk was really accommodating, normally hotels in Japan won’t let you check in earlier than designated check-in time...

Mini apartment in one of the best district of Tokyo. 2 mins by walk from higashi shinjuku metro station and 15min from shinjuku and kabukicho. Fully furnished. Perfect for a few days... Just the bathroom was seriously TOO small, but still enough for a fast shower before going to sleep! Recommended!

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
