I'll tell you one thing; I am japanese. I have never seen such a shabby and very old fashioned bathroom which was covered with mold before in my whole entire life! I did not take a shower at this hotel. I agree that I have high standards in cleanliness, but I think the fee is too expensive at that quality. ...

We picked the hotel for it's location. Near Shinjuku, but not right by a main street, and we were very pleased. There were several restaurants in the streets around the hotel so we had plenty of choice for breakfast. (Our rate didn't include breakfast.) The staff were friendly, and while it wasn't the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, it...

It locates about 5-10min walk from Shinjuku Station. A lot of restaurants nearby and the area is quiet. Hotel room is small as usual. The room is not very clean especially the toilet. It is good if you need to stay near Shinjuku.

First, there was a dead spider in the washroom the moment i got to the room. Second, the room smells like piss (it literally spells like a public washroom). Third, the hotel is pretty run down, the washroom looked like it hasn't been renovated for a very long time. Lastly, the hotel very small and overpriced. If you are looking...

It has no frills but does it's job. If I wanted to spend time in hotel I'd choose somewhere else. Proximity to shinjuku is handy for getting narita express and getting around circle line train - Yamanote line- to go anywhere along there. There's really nice fish restaurant just in front, and there's convenience store nearby, so it's very convenient...

It was a bit hard to find, but hard to forget :), it was a great deal hotel, all the staffs were super friendly and helpful, I was located on the secluded quiet area in buzzing Shinjuku. The location is very good! If you take the the Limo-bus from Narita, get off at West Exit Shinjuku Station, which is about 600m from the hotel. It is also convenient for the Metro as it is near some useful subway stations, like Shinjuku Station and Shinjuku Nishiguchi. It is also near enough to the Metropolitan Govt Building, and Shinjuku...

Room is small, but you are in Tokyo. If you want a large room you will pay a large price. Room was clean, we had wi-fi, a fridge, television, small desk, pant press and breakfast. Liked that it was a ten minute walk to train station.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
