The hotel is situated next to the business and governmental business district of Tokyo. Reception staff is friendly and helpful, while sometimes has some challenges with the English language. The rooms are Tokyo like smaller then used but equipped with really everything you need. Comfy bed and pillow, fast wifi and cat5 LAN access, air purifier etc... So really alright...

Stay here for 5 nights, location is within 5+ mins walking distance from yotsuya station, convenience store nearby and many eatery around. Hotel is a little dated but room is reasonably size by Tokyo standard, clean and functional, I have 3 miserable night of stuffy hot room when they switch to no aircon for the so called cold weather and...

I love being located at Yotsuya, which is represented by both the JR line and the Tokyo Metro line. The hotel is about five-minutes walk from the station and is next to a food street which serves great local fare till about early in the morning. There's a Pizza place which seems popular with the locals in the lobby, though...

Arrived in Japan very tired after a long flight and hotel allowed us into room at 1pm . All very clean and tidy very good and pleasant staff. The bedrooms are larger than the average size I have been used to in Japan. A lovely Italian restaurant attached to the hotel and others within short walk . Best way to...

It was really nice accomodation for me! Staff was very kind and they were really speaking english very well. Rooms were nice and clean. But internet connection was awful. I don't know why but the slowest speed i could see in tokyo was in my hotel, unfortunately.

The room has an average size which allows mobility of the guests. The hotel is strategically located near restaurants and convenience stores, although a relatively short walk to Yotsuya Station. The staff are accommodating and are ready to answer all your queries.

The Mitsui Garden Hotel branch in Yotsuya would be the perfect budget hotel for me -- nice lobby, clean and well-organised (albeit small) rooms, and great transit connections -- if it were not for the service I experienced there. I booked a room using Expedia and, my mistake, didn't realise that a double meant a tiny double bed rather than...

Loved this hotel - the room was of a decent size and both room and bathroom were exceptionally clean. Not a speck of dust in the room nor a spot of mold anywhere in the bathroom. Kudos to their housekeeping staff for a job well done in cleaning the rooms so well! Although location of hotel was very close to...

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
