My hubby and 7 month old daughter stayed here for 4 nights in February 2017. We had a wonderful experience at this hotel - the staff were helpful and accommodating - even providing umbrellas we could borrow when it was rainy. The room was big enough for us to use our travel cot for the baby and to store our...

A great place with very friendly and helpful staff. The room size was excellent for 2 people, rooms were quiet and had a small kitchen area. Shower/bathroom was good but the water pressure was a little low. Its only a short walk to the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku. A great, quiet spot to stay

My partner and I stayed here for a week and we couldn't be more happier with our choice of accommodation! We had a double bed room and the room was a lot more spacious then what you would typically find in Japan - plenty of space to leave your bags around and to move around with. The room had a...

This place was great!! My partner and I absolutely loved it! The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It's a 10-15minute walk to Shinjuku station and there are a lot of stores restaurants within that distance. Would definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in tokyo!

The room was small but clean, and with plenty of storage space. Even with three people it was still comfortable. Amenities in the room are good, the bathroom had basic toiletries and hairdryer, and the kitchen had plenty of utensils. Service was great! When the housekeeping staff came by to set up the extra bed for us, he asked us...

A pleasant location close to a vibrant shopping precinct. The rooms are clean and reasonable well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. It is a short walk to Shinjuku rail station and other transport.

I find myself returning to Citadines Shinjuku each visit to Tokyo, despite a wealth of choices. Great value, good service, clean and large rooms, hot showers with decent pressure. Some may find the location somewhat remote, but the subway's a 10 min walk away, and Shinjuku's 15 min in the opposite direciton. In exchange, you get peace and quiet, and...

My one concern was the distance from the Shinjuku train station but this quickly became a non issue once we found our way. Honestly if this is your only concern don't let it stop you - it's really a very easy walk and close to other smaller metro stations for day to day travel. Was great having the microwave, kettle...

My partner and I stayed here in November last year. The location was fun and interesting, close to sights in Shinjuku. I found it a little far from the Shinjuku Station though. The hotel it's self was decent as well as the service. Happy with the decision but would probably try somewhere else next time.

I traveled with my adult son and needed a room that allowed for privacy. This unit had a sleep sofa and two twin beds. Plus it had a kitchen and a closet with shelves for all our clothes. Efficient design and great location to rail, park, restaurants and jazz clubs.

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
