It was a good hotel stay, we stayed there for one week. The staff speaks good english and very helpful. The only thing that can be better is the breakfast, it was too poor, but ok. And cleaning the room could have been one more time because they only clean the room twice in a week. Otherwise very clean hotel...

Stayed here for 7 nights and the great thing about the hotel is its location. It's located in Korea town and have many good restaurants, coffe shops and convienient stores around. Very friendly and helpful staff their english is superb. Rooms are tidy and clean. Apparently they only clean on mondays and wednesdays maybe a third day would be adequate...

The 100 Stay is in a great location. Close to train lines and an easy walk into Shinjuku center. Heaps of food spots all around too. The hotel is a bit like student digs, with not many older types. It is cheap bu Tokyo standards and has free breakfast, but at the edges the place could be cleaner and the...

The hotel is well located, near to stations all within walking distance. Convenient to find food as there are rows of restaurants & Aeon supermarket just a stone throw away. However, the room rate is expensive but by Japanese standard the room is spacious. It is clean & beds were comfortable. Good safety too. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Small...

The worst service minded staffs ever. I liked that the room was spacious, and the area around the hotel was convinient to go anywhere and get anything, but people at front desk were the worst. We were 5 people and checked in only 2 of us and let them know we are family but we have other place to stay...

We stayed 4 nights. The room had everything we needed and was of a very good size. It had hot plate and microwave but we didn't use these. There is a supermarket next door that sells most everything including alcohol. It is not really in Shinjuku but so close and the easy walking distance to two stations is a great...

Upon arrival I was upgraded to a “premium” room on the top floor, which I was excited about, until I realized it meant I get a higher ceiling and great view. Which I guess is cooler? Otherwise, it’s a standard business-style hotel room that’s on the smaller end (normal in Japan), with clean and functional everything. The breakfast is very...

The hotel is located in the heart of Shinjuku and a taxi can be found right round the corner. The executive rooms are good and are equipped with the famed japanese style toilets. Breakfast is basic but the service is good. Breads and stuff.

Location-wise it's not in the main Shinjuku area where the action is. In fact, it's a little bit out of the way, just one local train ride to Okubo, which is perfect if you want a little peace and quiet. Not good if you are traveling with older people who want to just walk right out to the action and...

Conveniently located near Okobu JR line. One stop to Shinjunku station. The room we are in on our second visit to the hotel has a view toward Shinjinku city. It is facing west so can be hot as the sun is heading down. Great view from the 15th floor. Different but it's equally as nice as the east facing rooms....

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
