I actually took the airport limousine bus since it was more convenient for me from Narita airport. Bus dropped me at Hilton hotel and it is about 5 mins or less walk from there to this hotel. I didn't realize how great this location is. As others have mentioned, JR and metro stations are in walking distance. Small rooms but...

This hotel is very central in Shunjuku . the room is small , well it is Tokyo!, but you have a little refrigerator, a kettle, even a small table, and mini coach....very convenient. There is a Family Mart, a 7/11, and a Mc Donald close by. Also a little temple, with picnic tables ( in fact it is a cemetery!)...

The title pretty much tells it all. The location is excellent, its just opposite the Nishi-Shinjuku subway station (Marounochi line) and 10 minutes away on foot from Shinjuku station (for JR lines and several subway lines). Its quiet, as its not right in the centre of the entertainment disctrict. There are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops in easy walking...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
