Very cute, warm , small and petite lobby . Lobby would be the size of a large bedroom with a small sit out ( about 2 sofas) and desk . People at the desk are super friendly . Most can understand English at the desk and one of the front desk lady speaks impeccable english ( she stayed in US for few years ). I stayed in such a small room for the first time. If you are travelling with 2 suitcase, there is probably no space to put both of them. I didnt like the bed though : wrought iron bed , bit creaky and shaking. I personally like beds that you can sit and lean on while reading ... not possible here. The room lighting is very dim and i have never seen such small bathrooms/ shower before. The railway station is 10 minutes walk, many eateries right in front ( local japanese, turkish, Indian, american diner, Thai food ... most options available ). Shibuya…
This hotel is in a wonderful location, was a great value for Tokyo, is unique and the staff were helpful and very kind. I would absolutely stay here again. Be aware however that depending on the direction you are heading (coming to and from the train station for example) you must use the elevated crosswalk, typical all over Shibuya, but just be aware.
Our second stay at the Sakura Fleur this year, was here in January. Great little hotel and very reasonable prices for such a great area 10 min walk to Shibuya station. Great staff and so quiet we take a room in front with view and no traffic noise at all. Rooms are good for Japan small but have everything you need, suck it up princess enjoy good Japanese services and hospitality.
This hotel was just what I needed. It was quaint and located close to Shibuya Station. The staff were nice and helpful. The room was simple and had everything that I needed. And, most importantly, it was clean!
Five minutes walk for Shibuya Station and famed crosswalk. Cannot beat the location for the price (we usually get a room for under AUD200 -dep on exchange of course). We’ve been going to Tokyo once a year for ten years and we try other hotels (like to try different locales) but this is our fave. Pros - location, location, location - great shopping nearby, fab restaurants and convenience store downstairs. Staff are fantastic: polite and efficient. English is good. Clean rooms. Free water. Cons-room size is typical for Tokyo, you have to leave room so they can clean (but who wants to stay in your room in Tokyo) . . . In all I highly recommend Sakura. I like its quirkiness—if you want an American-style blandish room then maybe this isn’t for you....
