This hotel is conveniently located 3mins away from Shinjuku station and also 3 mins walk away from Takashimaya. Hotel amenities are modern and the twin sharing room is big enough for a family with small children. The key thing is the Airport Limousine coach stops at this hotel. If the massiveness of Shinjuku station is daunting, first timers, this hotel...

If this is a three-star hotel by American standards, then my review is that it is average/above average. We choose this hotel because we booked last minute and it was the most convenient for the price ($300USD). Very expensive in my opinion. Especially for this level of hotel. This hotel gets five stars for convenience if you're traveling from Haneda...

My wife and I stayed at this hotel as the location was good: near the train station and pretty much walkable distance as well to to alot of places, such as arcades, eateries, convenience stores and shops. Room was also clean and comfortable and packed with many amenities to make our stay great. We also opted for breakfast which was...

Hotel is very centralised and has pick up to the airport (not complimentary). It is walkable to takashimaya and a few great eateries at the shinjuku area. To name a few- blue bottle coffee, ichiran ramen and the area is a shopping haven! Hotel is also near the train station!

I had chosen the Sunroute hotel at Shinjuku, because close to the Railways stations and close to the buses to the airport. While arriving at the desk I discovered that my booking was at the SUNROUTE HIGASHI. Which is at one station from Shinjuku Station, low-middle range while the SUNROUTE PLAZA is upper-middle range. The difference paid with the taxi...

We have always been a loyal guest of Southern Century hotel in Tokyo , which is diagonally opposite Sunroute Shinjuku hotel but this trip, the hotel was fully booked up due to the golden weekend. We had no choice but to book Sunroute due to the location. This has got to be our one of our lucky discovery (we paid...

Reception staffs are undoubted very helpful & friendly. However, the security at the hotel front door is rather cold or unresponsive, he won't even help guest stop a taxi. Room & environment are spacious and overall good, however I find housekeeping service are rather random. Especially the bedsheets are not properly made and trash often not taken out even when...

The hotel is close to 2 train stations and shopping malls. It is indeed in a very good location. There's a nearby Mcdonald's and Family Mart for a quick breakfast and evening snacks. The rooms are very clean, and I will definitely stay there the next time I'll be in Tokyo.

First time traveler to Tokyo, and this hotel was a perfect choice! Near everything great Shinjuku has to offer: restaurants, Shinjuku metro and department stores. Airport Limo dropped us off. Great staff, and it's a non-smoking hotel so that's a plus. We stayed in a twin bed standard room, and it was great. Not as spacious as some might be...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
