The room is nice and spacier than some of the hotels I stayed in Tokyo within the same price range. We have enough hallway space for two piece of 24-inch luggages. The cleaning staff kept the room clean and refilled the toiletry suplies every day. I had a room on the 11th floor so it was very quiet. Currently there... More

This Hotel is located in a business district of Tokyo, approximately 500 meters from a metro station. Rooms are extremely small (they specify 15sqm on booking.com, which is far from a realistic count), with the bed stuck within 2 walls and just a few centimeters from the window. Bathroom is very small as well, with the sink which is actually... More

Hotel Monterey Akasaka is very well located in the district of Akasaka in the central of Tokyo city. 300 meters from subway station and easily accessible in all directions to the other attractions of Tokyo. Good spread for buffet breakfast -both Japanese and Western. Superb services from the front desk. When we has difficulties with our travel adapter connecting the... More

We recently stayed at this hotel as a couple. It is in a good location just opposite the Imperial Palace Park, within a 5min walk of good restaurants, bars and the nearest underground station is Akasaka-mitsuke. Unfortunately, we had the tiniest double room we have ever stayed in which didn't make our experience of the hotel, the best it could... More

This was a wonderful hotel. Very clean, quiet, modern and not overpriced. When I travel, I'm not in my room too much because I'm out seeing the sights so the two things that are most important for me are a bathroom that has hot/strong water pressure and being able to get a good nights sleep. I had no issues at... More

Me and my sister got a happy surprise when we got here. The room was large, very clean and cozy. Amazing view. The staff is very polite and the lobby is beautiful! It was not a long walk from akasaka mitskue (dont remember the correct spelling) subway. Close to several smaller stores and also 20 minute walk from a bigger... More

Great location close to akaska mitsuke station wth plenty of restaurants nearby. The standard double room is however tiny and really only suitable for one person so pay extra and upgrade to a larger room. Hotel decor is modern and rooms are very clean. Breakfast buffet has pkenty of choice for west ern as well as japanese tastes

Stayed in Oct 2016. Overall, I would return to Monterey Akasaka again, for its reasonable rates and clean rooms. Cons - Hotel does NOT make restaurant reservations for guests. This came as an upsetting surprise to me. I'm not sure if budget hotels have the same non-reservation policy. Because of this, I cut short my 7 nights booking to 5... More

We had a group of 50 in this hotel. At first it was very difficult to communicate with hotel managers, but at the end who stay was good. Location is very good, breakfast is worth your investment (small room so only 40 people can fit in), clean and neat hotel. I recommend this for couples and business as well.
