Chose this Hotel because it was walking distance to a restaurant we wanted to go to. It is not an extremely convenient hotel, about 8 mins' walk to Subway Station, but price is really inexpensive. It belongs to the Tokyu Hotel, which we're a member of, and are collecting points from. It's basic and clean. Just don't expect high level of Japanese hospitality.

Stayed here for 3 nights from 31 Dec 19 till 3 Jan 20. The room generally is clean and neat. Very comfortable and provided extra pillow/cushion for each bed. The pillow also comes in different degree of softness which is quite thoughtful. The room is considered quite ok, not too big or small. I stayed in a triple sharing room and when the 3 of us opened our luggage, not much room for walking tho. The receptionist at the service desk are mainly men and they don't really put on a smile when welcoming guests. Even though they are polite in answering our questions, but a little smile doesn't hurt right? Only one male staff has a lovely and friendly smile when we asked him questions on the new years eve celebration of eating soba at the hotel. He was very kind in explaining to us, the culture and tradition of eating soba on the eve of new year and invited us to join in the celebration. We are thrilled to be able to participate in it. The coin laundry machine is located at the other block of the hotel which is quite inconvenient for those staying at the main block. The dryer could not even dry our thermal wear in 30mins (which is 1 cycle) and it only got thoroughly dried after 3 cycles. Perhaps the hotel can increase the drying temperature so that clothes get dry faster and guest do not have to keep walking to the laundry room throughout the night for at least 4 to 5 times. Lastly, the location of the hotel is abit inconvenient. The nearest train station is a 7mins walk to other sub line. If you want to take the main Yamanote line to Harajuku or Shibuya, it is at least a 20mins walk. So, if you are travelling with a big family with elderly and young children, it can be quite challenging.

The hotel itself was just fine. The size is what I would expect for a Japanese hotel. The pillows were uncomfortable, but the overall room was clean, new, and pleasant. It’s also in a quiet part of town, if that’s what you are interested in. The issues I had were with the restaurant and staff. My boyfriend and I were turned away from the restaurant without an explanation, and there were plenty of seats available. When inquiring about why we would be turned away for dinner, the front desk stated that it is because it’s busy (and that it would be busy again). Again, there were plenty of tables available which makes me wonder if we were not wanted. Another issue I had: after the room had already been cleaned, a staff member from the hotel entered without knocking, then immediately left upon realizing someone was in the room. I am wondering why they would come in unannounced long after the room had already been cleaned.

The hotel has standard rooms sizes (as usual in Japan). But they are clean and have a standard equipment. Located close to a train station. But many interesting locations can be reached by walking too. Very helpful and friendly staff (good english speaking).

I was stranded in Tokyo for 3 days due to a typhoon. I stayed here and was happy with the hotel. The rooms were very clean but also very small. The air conditioning seemed weak and kept the room barely cool. This hotel is located in a great area however. Close to Tokyo tower, great restaurants, rappongi, and the subway.

Room sizes were too small. No cupboard facility is there. You have to hang your apparels in the hangers provided by this property. If you go there for leisure or even for a business trip for more than 5 days, then please go for other properties like Villa Fointaine at Shiodome...Unexpectef things was comlimentary mineral water bottle which you will not get normally across Japanese properties...Location is superb. Walking distance from Toronamon station. Ginza is also not too far.

Even in London I had a bigger hotel room. This room was so tiny that me and my mom had to alternate walking in it. Very old rooms, but very clean. The air conditioning worked for three minutes and then would stop no matter what temperature I put it on, and even when I chose “high” on the fan, so I got up at night to turn it off and on again countless times. Ended up sleeping with the window open. Being vegan I had nothing except fruit or rice for breakfast, no other choices. Very central location. On the last day we realized that there is a new wing to the hotel that looked much nicer, should have asked for that although I don’t know if the rooms are bigger. Has a washing machine on the second floor.

Ok. The room had everything that was necessary. The hotel was conveniently located. I guess I was just not used to the compact size of the room. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good. I would stay again.
