The Grand Hyatt is located at Ropponggi, a bustling district in Tokyo with lots of option of shopping, dinning and night life. This is also one of the flag ship Hyatt property, along with the much more renowed Park Hyatt Tokyo. I decided to try for 4 nights on a recent vacation. Arriving I arrived by taxi after checking out...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 13 January 2017

Having done extensive business in Japan earlier in my career, my knowledge of the Tokyo lodging choices is fairly robust. Most recently I visited Tokyo with my wife and two teen children (all of their first time). Up until now, the Park Hyatt was my go-to hotel of choice. No longer. The Grand Hyatt excel in all facets of the...

After a 12 hour journey this was such a lovely stopping point. We stayed here for 5 nights and loved it. The check in process was quick and we found the concierge service to be super helpful. They helped up secure dinner reservations prior to the trip and were always there to hand us maps as we ventured out to...

Last time I visited there was over a few years ago. I was mixed feeling to return to this hotel if they had remained good service as they used. Bingo, my feeling was quite correct. The service was a roller coaster, downhill. When I inquired something that used to get it done nicely was either rejected or charged this time....

Stayed here 3 nights to attend a family function in the same hotel. The staff is very attentive, helpful and friendly. The bathrooms a spacious, with a luxurious bathtub and shower. Rooms are clean, though I thought the beds were a little small (like many things in Japan) and the general aesthetic of the hotel is simple but elegant. The...

I stayed here for business for four nights. Warm welcome by Senior staff. Club Lounge is appropriate with very good offerings for breakfast and dinner. Great pool but very small gym which is always very crowded (with external members as well I think). Gym has very low ceilings and the air quality is very poor. Great Japanese restaurants on 6...

This hotel exceeded any expectation I had. The staff is unbelievable kind and always talk to you, wherever you pass through them. The room is very large and the bathroom is a must see, really nice. Every morning I had a great experience having my breakfast with literally anything you would like to eat that day. I ate at one...

It's easier just to say amazing than list everything here. If I could pick on anything I would say the gym could be bigger. Amazing location, food, bars, rooms, service, etc. Etc. Etc. Along with the Conrad my Favourite hotel in Tokyo
