Great hotel, modern and comfortable. Friendly staff great location and easy accessibility to the rest of the city by train or bus. There is a mall and several food places across the street. Love the bed.

The location of the hotel is good for some downtime away from the busy city centre. Rooms are also larger than normal. Staff were also very friendly and spoke good English. Rooms were cleaned well and fairly quickly. A 24-hour convenience store is located right outside the hotel. There are many buses that stop right in front of the hotel...

We stayed here for two nights in December 2016 (family of four with two teenage girls). We had one room with 4 singe beds lined up in a row. Room was comfortable and nicely-furnished. The location of the hotel is great, right next to a train station (pubic transport in Tokyo is superb if pricey - given that that the...

Had one night stop over in Tokyo so needed a nice Hotel close to the airport for a good nights sleep. The Hotel has some great views over Tokyo Bay and a nice high level bar and restaurant to enjoy the views. Rooms very reasonable considering how packed Tokyo can be and it's close enough to train lines for reasonable...

The hotel was nice and the room were very clean and a good size for Tokyo. The location was okay, but it is a little bit far off of the center of Tokyo. The staff was overall pretty rude and not helpful. At the reception the receptionist did not smile once until i paid the bill. When i needed some...

Having arrived early I took a trip up to Asakusa on the boat with is only a 2 minute walk from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat within a couple of minutes walk. Breakfast I had each morning at a local coffee shop which was excellent. I was there for a week and each day the room...

The Grand Nikko Daiba location is very good. There is a train station connected to it, a definite advantage, considering that transportation is very expensive in tokyo. The hotel has a good room, has excellent toiletries, unlike other hotels which you would rather bring your own shampoo or body wash. Hotel' staff are fluent in english so communication wont be...

Our first time in Tokyo and this was a great place to stay. Our flights were in and out of Narita airport but we had no issues getting to and from the hotel using the Airport Limousine bus shuttle service (60 minutes travel time, up to 90 minutes during heavy traffic which we never encountered). We had 3 adults staying...

Lobby : The entrance is quite grand but the sitting area is way at the back. The front desk people does not speak a lot of English and not friendly but the concierge was not only friendly but helpful too. I guess it just depends on the person. Nice gift shop with plenty of gourmet food and nice souvenirs to...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
