The hotel is situated in a great location - easy walk to the JR, GINZA lines...the room is clean, orderly, and in good condition and the staff is super helpful. Even before we arrived the concerige was lining up reservations for us and ensuring that we had the proper directions. THis is an INVALUABLE service in Tokyo - as most...

I was really pleased with all aspects of our experience at this hotel, except for one thing. I'm a non-smoker, and walking into the lobby to the smell of smoke, and then having to pass right through to get to and from the lifts was quite unpleasant (smoking in permitted in parts of the lobby area). The staff were very...

My husband had been staying here on business and I joined him a week later for 1 night before continuing on to explore other parts of Japan. It had fantastic views and lovely comfy beds. I would recommend this hotel if you can afford it, it is definately worth the money just for the views.

An excellent experience, apart from one relatively minor thing. The "hot" breakfast (bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and potatoes) was far from hot - barely luke-warm every day during my stay. To compound that the plates put out for guests were stone cold. By the time I returned to my table the food was congealing. I complained to the floor manager...

This was a really tremendous find. There are two metro stations within falling distance connected either directly or along an elevated walkway above the streets, but it's also within walking distance of Ginza and the Imperial Palace grounds. Be sure to request the rooms with a view of Tokyo Tower, as there is a surprise bonus to that: Fuji. Staff...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
