This hotel is located right across the street from the Shinagawa train station. You can get here from Haneda Airport and can also get to Narita Airport. It is a large complex, with ramen restaurants nearby. Easy connection on Yamanote train line to other locations in Tokyo. The only drawback was the rooms were extremely warm and we had to...

Stayed there twice between December 2016 and January 2017 for several nights on each stay. Hotel is excellent location across Shinagawa JR station, just walk out west side of JR station look for Mc Donalds and there is a pathway there that leads to hotel. many shops and restaurants along pathway to hotel. 711, stores in the hotel, multiple wings...

Some recreation facilities inside such as bowling, swimming pool and a small theme park. Good location with many shops & restaurant and near JR station. However, for room with double beds, size is a bit small.

One very important thing to note when traveling to Tokyo is finding an accommodation strategically located near a train station. This hotel clearly fits the bill. It is just right across the Shinagawa station so it is convenient for one to travel almost anywhere especially with a JR Pass. From the airport, you can take the Narita Express and you'll...

Excellent facilities, polite staff, and most of all, brilliantly located next to the bustling Shinagawa Station. An absolute must stay for the Tokyo traveler who wants to use the JR Rail lines or the Tokyo Metro. The rooms we used were a trifle on the smaller side, but had everything one would want for a comfortable stay. We stayed 5...

My daughter and I were part of a tour group to Tokyo. Honestly, when I read the reviews about this hotel, I was apprehensive of what to expect. I was relieved when we were informed by our guide that we will be staying at the main tower. The room was small but complete with all the basic necessities and the...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
