Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for a few nights for our final leg of our Japan family vacation. This is a wonderful hotel, centrally located and very convenient. Very clean, modern and I'm guessing caters to international/Western travelers including business trips. Some highlights: Hotel is located in the tower above the Shinagawa station so getting to the subway, Shinkansen, etc. is very easy, even for first-timers to Japan. There is a 7-Eleven right downstairs. We didn't explore any restaurants outside of the hotel so can't speak to that. The hotel restaurants are very good. Breakfast buffet was the best we had out of the 3 hotels that we stayed out with a wide assortment of Japanese and Western items and a custom egg/omelette station. They even have a fancy Balmuda toaster oven which was amazing to try out! The teppanyaki restaurant was delicious, although very pricey, but worth the splurge if you can while on vacation. The Italian restaurant was fine, nothing too special but good for a hotel restaurant. We did in-room dining the first night because we arrived late and was pleasantly surprised at the full menu to choose from and how quickly our food arrived. In fact, the fact that they offered in-room dining at all was a huge plus. The two other hotels we stayed at did not offer it and also did not permit us to bring coffee or breakfast items back up to the room (maybe for Covid reasons). We had rooms on the top floors, facing the train tracks, which was fine for us. Having lived in Manhattan for many years, I enjoyed the view of the trains and hearing the sounds of the tracks late into the evening. But I can see how that might not be ideal for some travelers. My kids liked it too as we live in the suburbs so this big city stuff was all exciting for them. It seems connecting rooms/suites are not a thing in Japan because none of our hotels offered that as an option for our family of 5. So we split up into two rooms on two different floors which wasn't ideal. We made it work but if we needed to get something from one of the suitcases or whatever, it was just a little extra coordination. Rooms were spacious enough and bathrooms were modern with a large shower area and tub. They do have a fitness room but I didn't have time to check it out. We really would have liked a pool, even a small one, to relax in at the end of our busy sightseeing days. I also would have liked a self-service laundry room in the hotel.

Excellent location being near to the Shinagawa Station and walking access to many restaurants. Though the hotel is located in a business area, the interior of the hotel is quiet and peaceful. Facilities are adequate and well maintained. Good daily Breakfast selection especially the pastries & egg station. All the service staff were friendly n helpful. Thanks for making this an enjoyable stay, after a 2.5 years Covid break.

The rooms were very clean and the employees were courteous and supportive during our stay. I was able to spend a special time that was different from my daily life. Another high point was the fact that the room was available and they upgraded it for free.

Its so good expeliment like as exective at New Cadenza Lounge.

There is no Business Center for general guest. But I could stay room till 4pm as ambassador member. Sure, I could attend business meeting via in-room WiFi service as ambassador member too. So, I enjoyed!
