Stayed at the ANA Intercontinental for a few nights for business. Facilities were very good and room was excellent as I would expect for a hotel of this standard. Price for the room was reasonably good value for money for the quality of the hotel service and location. However, I felt like the hotel was trying to make up for...

This hotel, as with most Intercontinental Hotels, is a fine business hotel. As a business hotel there is nothing to disappoint. However if it some luxurious leisure you are looking for there may be preferable hotels. There is a fine selection of Japanese, Chinese and Western restaurants and the food at these restaurants was most pleasing. The hotel is clean...

I stayed 4 nights at the hotel, and they were a dissapointment from check-in till check-out. Check in was a 25 minute disaster, for 3 rooms with the lady at the counter unable to coop, eventhough we were the only once at the check-in counter, my luggage was delivered full 40 minutes after arrival, and all to one of the...

Conveniently located near a Metro station entrance (Ginza Line), it’s very good for accessing all the central Tokyo attractions. Lovely reception area and restaurant. Excellent spread for breakfast – something for everyone. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Has a delightful pastry shop for those with a sweet tooth i.e. me! Our room was smallish, but had a great view of...

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
