The location is very good, mere minutes from Timachi JR station where you can take the Yamanote line to Haneda or to Tokyo Central. A few minutes further on is Mita underground station. You can't use your JR card here so you'd need to either buy a single use or a 1-2-3 day ticket. This type of ticket is for tourist and you'd need to present your passport to purchase it. We did buy a 3 day one but found it was of limited use as we already had the JR pass and you can use that a lot (if you're travelling by underground to Shinagawa station and want to transfer to the JR line for the Shinkansen you'll need to pay 140 yen for the adjustment fee. You present the adjustment ticket and your JR ticket to the gate inspector). Back to the hotel. The reception staff are very friendly and do speak limited English. At reception there's a range of free toiletries, creams etc. Also free here is the coffee machine and an ice maker for iced coffee. There's also a ice machine on the 8th floor, same room as the washer/dryers and microwave, but the ice here is big chunks of it. The room is typical Japanese business style, very small with an equally small but deep bath tub with overhead shower. If you use the eco choice (they'll make up your bed but won't change the sheets) they'll leave you a bottle of water. They will still change the towels. Back to the washing machine and dryer. The washer takes 300 yen and dispenses detergent automatically as part of the price. The dryer is 100 yen for 30 minutes. There's also a vending machine in this room. All in all, a nice place to stay. At the end of my 3 week tour of Japan I'll be back in Tokyo staying at a hotel in Tokyo Bay. It'll be interesting to compare but I'd have no problem staying here again.

The hotel is very conveniently located as it is a mere 5mins walking distance from the Tamachi station. There were also about 3 convenience stores located along the hotel. You can take the Yamanote Line directly from this station too. Location wise, it was terrific. Everything about the hotel was great except that it was really small (typical Japanese business hotel standard) that it is impossible to lay two big suitcases down (you need to let one stand in order to open/close the door properly). The bed was comfortable and the water pressure was good. Once again, the bathroom was also pretty small. The hotel provides free coffee at the lobby every morning. They also provide basic amenities (such as shower caps, tea/coffee packs, face mask, body lotion etc) at their reception for free. There are also washing machines & dryers (JPY 300 per use if I am not mistaken) located at the 8th floor (if you are a non-smoker, you might want to avoid staying at this floor as I did smell some cigarette smell when I was at the floor so I assume this is where the smoking rooms are located). Did not try the breakfast so am unable to comment on that. All in all, if you're on a budget and looking for an affordable & comfortable hotel, this is the hotel for you.

We stayed in Tokyo after traveling Osaka, Kyoto, and Hiroshima. The hotel offered a very great location near the JR station, where we mostly traveled to. It's a 5 minutes walk from the station to the hotel. Also, when we changed from JR to regular Metro, the station is still near there. The surrounding mostly filled with offices and housing complex. We enjoyed a dinner in Yoshinoya that located at the back of the hotel. Also mini market available near there, like 3 different marts in one road. Very nice and good to explore local beverages and snacks. I love the breakfast in the hotel, although they served the same menu everyday: steamed rice, saute vegetables, fried salmon ( I love this one so much), and coffee (or tea, if you want). The room is enough for 2 although it's even smaller than our room in Osaka, but it's still fine for us. I enjoyed my stay there. Oh they also served complimentary coffee at the lobby, pretty good to enjoy in the chill night.

We stayed for 3 days. Very convenient and comfortable hotel. Closed to the Tamachi train station and accessible to the haneda airport. Hotel is a bussiness hotel. Staffs are friendly, speaks a little english and accomodating. Check in and check was fast. The room is small, clean and tidy. Room lighting was perfect. Bed was comfortable, clean and good linen. Bathroom is small but very clean, good water pressure, good amenities, and with good quality body soap and shampoo. Breakfast was very standard for 800 yen. It is a recommended hotel for a couple travellers who visit Tokyo.

We arrived at dark. So a bit difficult to find. but from next day onwards, it was great. near to Tamachi station. the various eatery, 1$ store, 24 hr shop etc. That was our first night in Japan experiencing the small unique room of Japan. small little room which has everything you need inside the room. unbelievable. Staff at the dining hall doesn't speak English but Chinese.

Recently stayed at this hotel and chose it because of its closeness to Tamachi station. The room was a reasonable size for a budget room in Tokyo and was clean and comfortable. There was a buffet breakfast which offered everything that you need. The cost of the hotel was very reasonable for the location. The only negatives are check in and checkout. Check in is at 3pm - it seems this is common in Japan but not very helpful to the business traveller. Checkout is at 10am - if you stay longer they will charge you 1000 JPY per hour extra

Let’s be honest hotels in Tokyo are generally small rooms and pricey. As a frequent traveller to Tokyo (monthly) and the fact that I do not spend much time in the room (apart from sleeping and getting ready in the morning) so room size is not that important. The Sotetsu range of hotels are all well priced and fairly well presented. Service in all hotels in japan is generally good. I did notice though that the cleaning staff were not Japanese this time (well my room was attended by a Chinese lady I believe). Room size is small but adequate Desk, tv, alarm clock etc are all there - fridge too. Shower and bath (very small deep bath). Clean and tidy and fresh linen everyday if wanted. I used the “eco” card and only changed bedding every 3 days. Clean towels and pj’s daily. Free water if you use eco. Overall a cheap no frills place to stay.

The hotel is very well located - 5 minutes from Tamachi station, the street is fairly quiet at night and the bed extremely comfortable. There are plenty of convenience stores around as well as cafes. There is also a supermarket near by. Rooms are not too small, bathrooms very funcional and comfortable. Staff in reception is very helpful, speaks English and gives advice and maps.

I stayed here 3 nights with my wife. The hotel was just 5 minutes walk from Tamachi Station so very easy to go out and explore the town. My room was not very small, clean and staffs were very helpful.

Location: about 15minutes walk from Tokyo Tamachi Station. Lobby staff: can speak English and helpful. Breakfast: Chinese + Japanese style breakfast is provided. Room: slightly bigger than standard business hotel (e.g. Washington hotel). Bed: I like this much as having so many business trip to Japan and staying those Japan business hotel, their bed is the best I think, bigger and comfort. But due to non smoking room fully booked, I was arranged smoking room that strong smell inside room, even they provided the air purifier but still not comfortable. Hotel front: one 100yen shop (close early) and one drugstore. Surrounding has some restaurants but never try. JPY11600/Saturday night with breakfast. But check out time is 10:00am, if 11:00 am you need to pay another JPY1000.
