This hotel is pretty cheap and does the job if you are looking to rest after a day of sight seeing. Rooms are small and you have many pieces of luggage, then you will struggle for space (we had 2 big backpacks, stroller and smaller bags). Staff are very helpful and while may not always master English, they definitely try....

The location is a little far from city center, but the subway station is very very close to the hotel. you can utilize the subway to anywhere. Even take a bus, you still can access any attraction in Tokyo with one day pass. Nearby lots of convenient store and supermarket due to near the residential area. Thus very easy for...

My partner and I stayed here for two nights, the staff were very polite and supportive. We had lost our valuable documents and the reception helped us by calling everyone where we thought we left it and we managed to find it quickly. The room however is very, very small. But we knew this was the case and for a...

I've stayed in several budget business hotels during my city jaunts in Tokyo and, as with most, there are several positive and negative aspects of the Sotetsu Fresa Inn. The basic rooms are tiny. This is fairly standard in Tokyo in general so as long as you're expecting it you'll be fine. Baggage will fit at the end of the...

My annual family trip to Japan this year happened in March. Usually our stay is always within Shinjuku - Ikebukuro, the JR lines, however this trip, we booked something out of the ordinary. Toyocho, an area not very familiar to me, which is abt 20mins from Tokyo station via metro line. Location: 9/10 If you exit from the metro station,...

We, a family of 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 11) visited Tokyo for the first time from Australia and picked this hotel. The room is compact and small, if you have 2 large suitcases, you will have problem. There is a larger room but costs a bit more, worth checking that out.kids on the double bunk beds and...

My family of 5 (2 Adults and 3 Children aged 9, 7 and 17 months) stayed for 6 nights in the Premium Fourth Room. Definitely plenty of space with 2 double beds in one side of the room and another double bed and single sofa bed on the other side of the room. I found the beds a little soft...

Staying here for a night in deluxe twin room, non-smoking. The location of the hotel is just besides Toyocho metro station. Check in was fast when we reached there around 1pm. Staff was friendly. My wife was given a free lady goodie bag. We left our luggages there as the room was not ready during check in. The room is...

Sotetsu Fresa Inn in Toyocho (about 5 - 10 minutes from Tokyo Station) is one of a few family friendly hotels in Tokyo. i was looking for a family room, but decided at the end to book to double rooms for a family of 5 with one infant. the rooms are small, but clean and the bathroom is amazing for...

Being so close to a station that's connected to one of the main Metro-lines is definitely a plus! Thanks to all the elevators it isn't even hard to get there with a big suitcase. Considering it's in the middle of Tokyo, the prices and room sizes aren't that bad - as a European you need to get used to it...
