My husband and me stayed a second time at MO Tokyo to celebrate a special occasion. Upon arrival, we were met with a series of heartwarming surprises ... room upgrade, cake, champagne and congratulations from the staff. Above all, we felt the hospitality of the hotel is just not only perfect but also with personal touches. Highly appreciate the ethos... More

The views from behind the check in desk are jar dropping. After a few days there, I stopped being quite as stunned each time I walked by, but when we checked it, I could hardly concentrate as the city spread out in the distance from the giant windows behind the check in desk. Great location and on the top floors... More

Stayed here several nights with my husband - rooms are beautifully decorated in soothing shades with exquisite woodwork. The reception and concierge staff were not only extremely knowledgeable and efficient but also incredibly caring. Make sure to access the spa - a soak in the relaxing pools is a great way to start the day.

You check in on the 38th floor. Most buildings in Tokyo are relatively low due to the risk of earthquake. Not so The Mandarin. Its a giant in the area and therefore had incredible views across the city. As you check in, the views behind reception are breathtaking. We stayed on the 36th floor (2 down from reception) and we... Possibly the best hotel I've stayed in yet. Spent 2 nights in a corner suite, and 4 nights in a standard room later on in our trip - even the standard room felt spacious and luxurious. The whole hotel in fact is light and airy, thanks to floor to ceiling glass everywhere. The bar and lobby are jaw dropping. Top... More

Great hotel, as would be expected. The concierge, Setsu, was a fantastic resource. She helped us to plan specific activities before our arrival and continued to help us during our stay. The one problem with this hotel - they charge for internet. It's amazing that hotels of this caliber are nickel and diming their guests. At this point in the... More

Mandarin Oriental Tokyo means hospitality industry at it’s best. In my opinion, MO Tokyo is the best hotel of the Mandarin Oriental chain (I’ve been to many of them) and most definitely one of the best hotels in the world. To me it's No. 1 in Tokyo. We spent three nights in early October in a beautiful Mandarin Suite and... More
