There was apparently a sumo tournament going on so we were only able to find a double room at this hotel that was small (even by Japanese standards) though not badly laid out. It was relatively expensive but convenient to Kanda station. Unlike others in Japan we were able to have our room before 3pm. We had a room on...

Walk 1 minute once you exit JR Shin Nihombashi station, walk to tiny road on your left, you will see KAZUSAYA HOTEL sign board on the right side. Amazingly, vending machines still available in this tiny and quiet road (if not alley). My small double room is really small (as its name), minimum facilities, but still clean. I chose this...

I book the non smoking room through the agoda and paid about 150USD for the room. HOWEVER, when the date i arrived, they said they only have smoking room, if i want to have a non smoking room, i have to pay extra mony for it. Then why they sell non smoking rooom to me through the agoda system???? The...

stayed here for 2 nights and then 1 night after a short trip to kyoto. Everything about this hotel was perfect, from its central location just one stop away from tokyo station on the JR Sobu line; it was ideal and convenient coming in on the narita express train from narita airport. Just exit 6 at the shin-nihobashi station and...

The Kazusaya Hotel is a typical inexpensive hotel in Japan, with one surprising exception: the staff took care of us in English. I had not anticipated that. Having stayed in other similar hotels, I must admit it isn't exceptional. However, it is clean and quiet, and the staff is very friendly. We stayed four nights, and have no complaints about...

A great hotel that I stayed in for only one night whilst in Tokyo. The rooms are small but very clean & have all the basics. The receptionist was very helpful & accommodating. A walk to the local station but not that far & great value!

I had to look for a hotel near Kanda station, and found the Hotel Kazusaya. It is down a nondescript road, about 5-10 minutes walk from Kanda station. The staff were very friendly despite limited English speaking, and check in was easy and stress free. I was on the 6th floor in a non smoking room (601). The room itself...

We stayed in Room 305, on the nonsmoking 3rd floor. Restaurant guests can smoke downstairs in the lobby, however, and from there the smoke just travels everywhere especially in the night time when the restaurant is most popular. Room and bathroom were clean. Some cigarette burns on the sink . Bathroom feels more like a porta potty when it comes...

The hotel and its rooms are small as mentioned, but the service is great and it's only one short stop away from the Tokyo JR Station so you can pretty much go anywhere with a JR pass without much station hopping. It's also just steps away from the JR Shinnihombashi Station. The thing about that station, though, is that there...

This was our Tokyo base of operations when we visited. It was almost as though the hotel was minutes away from anything we wanted to see in Tokyo. Only drawback is there were few bars in the area. However, we're going back in March and we're staying at the Kazusaya again. The little lady at breakfast was what I think...
