After several recommendations of friends at different hotels which were all booked, Im so glad I got a room at Mercure. I had to book it last minute and Im so glad to get the last room available. This has made our trip to Tokyo truly memorable. The hotel is conveniently located, right at the heart of Ginza where everything...

hotel very well located in the center of Ginza. Real "people hotel" where you are welcomed as a guest after 11 hours flight. The room are relatively big and very confortable compared to the standards in Tokyo.

Last night in Japan so we chose Ginza and a reasonable hotel suite. Not the easiest hotel to find as the main entrance is down a side-street. The hotel is well placed for Ginza shopping and central Tokyo. Rooms are spacious by Tokyo standards with good facilities. Very friendly staff although the restaurant is on the expensive side. It is...

We stayed 5 nights at the Mercure Ginza. We choose a the luxe room and it had space enough, the bed was very good and the bathroom also good. The wifi internet in the room could be better. The breakfast was good enough and we had twice the dinner at the restaurant and we had no claims. The hotel is...

You won’t find a three-star hotel in Tokyo with a better location than this. The basement level is connected to Ginza-itchōme Station; when it rains, you can take the underground passage to Ginza, Hibiya, International Forum or even Tokyo Station (15 minutes away on foot). The superior rooms are so small that they can barely fit two pieces of luggage;...

Dear valuable Guest, Thank you for leaving your comments on TripAdvisor. I read carefully your comments and thank you for all the details you mentioned about. You are right to write about space as Tokyo is all about space! Yet, our rooms remain more spacious than our competitors as the smallest one’ size is around 20 M2. Of course the...

Unless you are on a high floor it's a bit dark (hey, it's Ginza, space is at a premium, and the next building is very close) and the room is comfy but functional. Dear Valuable Guest, Thank you for leaving your comments on TripAdvisor. I am glad to read that you enjoyed your stay with us and rested well despite our central location. Staying in Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Ginza / Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.
