Although visited Tokyo so many times, I had never until now actually stayed in a hotel in Ginza. This was a solo visit to catch up with friends after skiing in the Japanese Alps. Room was very similar to another Mercure I'd used in Naha last year - adequate and comfortable. The reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, particularly...

This Mercure is very nice in terms of location, 1 minute walk from Ginza Station and 15 minutes walk from Tokyo Central Station. There are many restaurants and fancy stores close to it (open late and close early). The apartments are small but comfortable for one person. And there is a floor just for woman!

The location is superb! It has access from the hotel to 1 metro station but 2 other stations are very very close by. The staff were extremely helpful and booked us in for the Robot Restaurant when we emailed them a week earlier then when we arrived we also received a 50% voucher to use. You can access this hotel from from Ginza Itchome station via exit 11, without going outside. You will have to carry your suitcases up/down a couple of small sets of stairs but if the weather is unfriendly it may be better than walking around the block. Check-in was efficient and friendly, and other staff we encountered were friendly and polite....
