This hotel is considered to be good for travelers who love to be near Tokyo station with JR, Subway, Shinkansen, just 1-2 blocks straight from station. The room is small , definitely Japanese standard but it is modern, nice & quite new too. From the hotel , you can walk straight to Ginza, shopping area, many restaurants.
This is a superb hotel set in an excellent location close to the station. The rooms are a little small but very clean with comfortable beds and pillows. Staff are very professional efficient and helpful.
My hubby and I stayed at the hotel recently on our first and last day in Tokyo. The hotel is a convenient 10 min walk from Tokyo's main train station, so easy to access even with carrying luggage. Our room was super clean and tidy. Room size is standard of Japan room sizes (small compared to Australia) but still had everything we needed with a small bar fridge, toiletries, pjs supplied & slippers. Check in was easy and staff very friendly and accommodating. We ate breakfast at the buffet one morning and the range of food was a big one. Able to eat a western breakfast or a more traditional Japanese breakfast. We were close enough to walk into Ginza and to the Tsujiki Fish Markets (about 20mins leisurely walk). Great location overall with many restaurants / cafes close by to the hotel. There is a cafe right below the hotel if you wanted to grab a coffee and danish in the morning. We were also able to leave our luggage there in the morning before our late afternoon flight that allowed us to continue exploring Tokyo. Happy to stay there again when we come back to Japan.…
We only stayed here one night before we moved on to Hakuba. However, this was a lovely hotel. The staff were kind and helpful, and as we were on our honeymoon, we got an upgrade to a lovely room. For Japan, it was huge! We had a lovely bathroom, nice, big, comfy bed, and very clean. I would recommend this hotel, and it's only a 2 minute walk from Tokyo train station too.
good hotel, razoable size room considering the usual small sizes in japan, position central , super close to main Tokyo station and kyobashi..still able to walk to other interesting areas, easy to get metro lines, trains, and lots of options for meals around..(one thing, all hotels we were in japan (3 and 4 stars) have kind of hard pillows, and firm mattresses..some have instant coffee bags, some only tea bags, no much sugar bags...all hotels offered free 2 bottle water/day) ,I expected better English skills for international level hotels..in general..but at least one person in each hotel has good english..and 99% of Japanese people go beyhond their duties to help you in any need,.hotels, stations etc.. great people..!
Location is superb! It is only 10-minute walk from Tokyo Station. The closest station is Kyobashi Station, which is less than 5 minutes away. Ginza, where many premium restaurants and shops are, is also within walking distance. The Airport bus stop for both Narita and Haneda airports are close by, within walking distance. We took bus instead of train from Narita and to Haneda due to our big luggages. It was very convenient. Room is small, which is very typical in Japan. We booked Comfort room which came with 1 double bed. 2 bottled water and in-room amenities were provided daily. However, we didn’t get 2 bottled water on our last day. Service is wonderful! Despite without Concierge presence, hotel staffs helped us call restaurants to make / cancel reservations. Having the smallest size room we stored 2 big luggages at the Reception since day 1 and kept 2 carryons with us in the room. Hotel staffs always smiled and were always ready to assist.…
The Mitsui Garden Kyobashi is about 100m from the Yeasu Mall which takes you, under cover, to the Tokyo Train Station(less than 10 mins walk overall). In the mall there are multiple shops(clothing, shoes, alcohol, mobile phones, food etc) and also multiple restaurants. If you want a change of scenery there are plenty of other restaurants in the area and Ginza is only 500m away. The hotel itself is very pleasant. Clean, well appointed and maintained rooms- a little small as is usual in Japan. Vending machines are available as are laundry facilities. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful and another nice feature is the lounge. next to the reception, where free coffee and tea is provided in the afternoons. Definitely would stay there again especially given how close it is to Tokyo Station(and also the Kyobashi Subway station).…
Having stayed at various Mitsui branded hotels during our trip to Japan, I was certainly looking forward to staying at Kyobashi. No problems whatsoever with the rooms and amenities, however the service by one of the staff at reception was horrid. We requested her help to reserve a restaurant for us, however you could see the hesitation and dissatisfaction on her face. This was very different in contrast to the friendly receptionist next to her who was also helping out another fellow guest to reserve restaurants. As such, I deem this unacceptable, and has tainted our positive views on the Mitsui brand.
Clean and convenient location, a 15 minutes underground walk to Tokyo station or the Kyobashi subway station near by. Didn’t try the hotel’s breakfast so can’t comment. The room is small as you can expect a budget business hotels all are. No study table only a small coffee table and sofa. Hotel staff is courteous and provided power adaptors when requested.
From the moment I checked in when the staff couldn't find my reservation, then wanted to give me a smoking room to the quality of the rooms and the very average breakfast spread (the only thing good are the croissants from Maison Kayser), my stay there was on the below average side Location is great, within a few minutes walk to the train station and to Ginza
