This is my second time using this hotel. This hotel is very clean and comfortable. This is a very convenient location near the station. The bathroom is large and the toilet seat is warm. The bed was not too soft and I could sleep well.
Check in was at 3pm we arrived early and were checked in straight away. Rooms are a decent size for Tokyo and Japan in general. Less than a few minutes from Akihabara Station which is serviced by JR and a number of private lines. Getting anywhere in the greater Tokyo area is easy. Close to plenty of food outlets and convenience stores. Can recommend Jack in the Donuts which is nearby. Also close to the Akihabara electronics district which is a feature of Tokyo within itself.
It's a nice hotel with good location and service, especially the breakfast, there are various kinds of food like pudding, tiramisu, cake, etc. and you will enjoy it very much. When you want to walk from JR station, you just need to walk about 1 minute, pretty convenient.
Had a great stay, coming back end of trip, would book again and recommend. My rating is based on my expectations and what is represented on website. Location is GREAT! My Tokyo friend tokd me to stay here, and he was right! I will post photo and video after next stay. Across the street from Train station, way better than taking 3 min to navigate shinjuku. Staff is wonderful. I booked the rooms for my group, we all had small doubles. Rooms are slightly larger than regular Japanese or European rooms, but the small double might be tight for two people with lots of stuff. I found it sufficient and to be all I needed. Toiletries are great. I never use hotel shampoo/conditioner, but theirs is fantastic. Also big bottles, not small extra polluting small ones. Kettle in room with tea bag and coffee bag. Desk. Tv channels are all japanese, no BBC. The area is great. …
2 min walk to JR station central gate (10 min train to ueno, terminal to narita airport) 2 min walk to convenience store lots of local restaurants, pubs, ramen restaurants ard 5 min walk to yodobashi (8-storey?! electronics and toy store) helpful and friendly staff efficient check-in and check-out comfortable bed and room with some view will recommend to frds (es. figures lover) and revisit
Have stayed here a couple of times before. It’s easy for the station 200m, Starbucks on the way, a few convenience stores and electric city! What’s not to like. I buy breakfast goods and eat in room. Lots of places for dinner. Rooms are clean, tidy, Japanese small. Communal areas are minimal, staff functional.
The location is perfect. Close to shops, restaurants and a very central train station (Akihabara). The rooms are clean, have all you need, however the rooms are very small for a western traveler. Beside the bed you don't have much room left and there are no closets, so you have to store your clothes in your bags. (This room size is typical for Tokyo.) Make sure you get a room towards the little river or the station. The ones on the sides face the wall of the next building. They serve a very tasty breakfast buffet with both western and Japanese food. The service is very nice and friendly.
Stayed six nights. Make sure you book a non smoking room if you’re not a smoker. Rooms are the usual small type for Tokyo but comfortable for one person. Place is clean as well although the bathroom did have a sewerage smell that came and went. Good location and very near train station, restaurants and shops. If your room is facing the street, it can be a bit noisy but nothing too major. Staff are fine but are strict on the 2pm check in (i.e. you can’t go in any earlier). You stay here mainly because of the location.
What I like about this hotel is the location. Just right across from the JR Akihibara Station. The hotel is ok. Rooms were clean, simple and has all the amenities you need. You will find plenty of restaurants around the area, as well as a family mart right across the street. There's a Denny's restaurant on the 2nd floor. All in all, it was a pleasant for a short stay.
This hotel is situated in the heart of Akihabara. A perfect location for exploring manga, anime, gadget culture in the area. The bathroom mirror is part heated, so it won’t steam up which is really nice. It has a free mobile phone for guest to use, air con, mini fridge and airdryer. But no USB ports. The services as usual is excellent. Some staff can speak English.
