Stayed at the Toshi Center Hotel while working on Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. Clean rooms with all the amenities you need: comfortable bed, good shower, kettle, fridge, wifi. Extensive breakfast buffet with delicious onsen eggs. Courteous and helpful staff. Great view. Close to Metro, good taxi pickup/dropoff point. Family Mart convenience store across the street. Good Japanese restaurant on lower level. Would stay again.
I returned last week to this place mainly because of its location and the extraordinary Rate of less than 40 us I found for that period. It is surrounded by 4 metro stations , Nagatacho (exits 9a/b being the most convenient ones) and Akasaka another practical stop. As always spotless and elegant. It is a bit like the Imperial Hotel in its sober elegance at a fraction of their prices. The single rooms are well acceptable, come with a bath tub, fast wifi and nice views. (1934). Breakfast not included, In my opinion too expensive for half the room rate additionally. TV has no foreign channels, check-out at 10 am. Staff completely unflexibel for early check-in, but this is the Japanese way. They have a kettle and exactly 1 tea, 1 instant coffee you can have on them in the room. Obviously not a western chain which drowns you in that stuff....but well.... Japan is really a country of adorable superlatives....generosity is none of these . Ask for a Non-Smoking floor and 2 pillows, so you are happy 😆…
I was staying in a tatami room at the 22nd floor. Very well organized and very clean. Outstanding view to the city. The floor personnel was outstanding as well. The breakfast was in a mixed European and Japanese style. I would suggest more variety, since it was the same all 4 days we have been there. The location of this place is excellent, as there are 3 metro stations in less than 5-10 minutes walking distance. Practically you can be where ever you wish in Tokyo, in a very short time. Highly suggested.
On my arrival in Tokyo, this was the first hotel I stayed at. Small but cozy room. One of the only hotels with a USB charger. That made it easy not having to use my regular USB charger. One thing that would have helped is if they had 2 packets of coffee or tea instead of one. I wasted one the first day by pouring salt (being early in the morning and from a long flight) instead of sugar and then had to go out to get coffee. A second packet would have saved my morning. Location is accessible by metro and by multiple lines.
The hotel is well situated...near the Imperial Palace. Very clean and tidy. Good Wifi connection. The room is very good. Le personnel extremement courtois et gentil. Even if they do not speak English much but communication was good.
