We have stayed at the hotel Grand Palace two years in a row. Mr. Saido and the staff are wonderful. The restaurants are superb. The Cattleya for breakfast, lunch and dinner is great; buffet or menu items are wonderful. The Chiyoda Japanese restaurant is superb! Our room was always serviced right away by the time we got back from breakfast....

Selected the Hotel Grand Palace for a couple of reasons. The first was the Airport Shuttle service from Narita. Second was the central location. Third was the reasonable pricing for the hotel. The hotel is not as modern as some of the newer hotels, but the rooms are good size, clean, and I found the management & staff to be...

The staffs are very nice and the rooms were clean and neat. breakfast was also lovely and had to wait to be seated but definitely worth the money. and the waiting was not for long as the staffs were sure to prepare a table as soon as it was empty for the others waiting in line. the menu was English...

The rooms were a little old fashioned but clean. As for the location, it's in the centre of Chyoda with only the Imperial Palace was close by. Fortunately, the Kundashita subway was a block away and found it easy to get to all the major spots. Our room on the 10th floor was quiet and had decent light. The staff...

Well one poor turn deserves another...after being treated like we were the enemy by staff because we dared to stay and have drinks whilst watching the sunset.. we chose not to eat at the teppanyaki restaurant! AVOID this hotel if you are not japanese!

stayed here for 3 nights with a travel group. Rooms are old fashioned and could do with some renovation. But as to be expected in Japan everything is very clean. Breakfast buffet was very good, lots of variety continental and Japanese food. However, the breakfast room is not very large and therefore I always had to wait to be seated....

Located in a quiet area (Kudanshita/Lidabashi), the hotel is clean, simple, quiet, the service is efficient, the staff friendly, affordable. they have nice restaurants. We had a good stay and would stay there again. There was air conditioning and the temperature fine. The surrounding area isn't very lively. The imperial palace and the national gallery of modern art is within...

The hotel is really clean and with all you need in a hotel. The only problem is that it is located 10-15 minutes away from the JR station, which can be a pain for individual travelers since it is kind of far (further if you've been walking around Tokyo for the whole day!) However, if you're traveling with three people,...

This was a very pleasant hotel with spacious interior and extremely helpful staff. We asked for a double bed and we got a fabulous large room on the top floor which was "gated" as most double rooms in Japan have single beds. We had a great view of the city lights at night, though by day it was shabby. Breakfast...

The hotel is recommended for a nice and comfortable stay. Food is good. Staff is also well mannered. Interior of the rooms are well designed. The couch inside the room is very good for a siesta. Roof-top restaurant serves very tasty food. Value for money. Good for business travelers and families. Wifi speed is slow.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
