My daughter and I had a first class experience at the Capital Hotel. From the moment I stepped into the building I felt like royalty even though I am just a regular girl. Every detail was executed with perfection; the beautiful room, views, meals and amenities, it was all amazing.
Sometimes it’s the perfect timing… The perfect moment when you needed it the most that makes a certain place feel more special. I was in awe from the moment I stepped into this property. Staff were very accommodating. It was way beyond my expectation in so many different ways…from the staff, the food, the wonderful view, comfy bed and the atmosphere of the hotel that took my breath away.❤️ This hotel is a must! to visit. It exemplifies the true meaning of Omotenashi and a genuine version of the traditional and modern Japanese culture. I guess it will be a timeless and personal favorite of mine from now. It was really an honor to find this hidden gem right in the middle of the city. One of the finest hotels with so much history.
The hotel is excellently situated above 3 separate subway lines so it's very convenient to get around. The hie shrine next door is great to check out and akasaka neighborhood has some great little dining spots and places to hang out. Service is impeccable. Highly recommended.
This was truly one of the most beautiful hotels we've ever stayed in. The room was enormous -- and spotless -- with a spectacular view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Bathroom also very large and a luxurious shower you could just about live in. Every amenity was provided. The staff was kind and helpful and always available. The food was extraordinary. Others have spoken of a bad smell but we experienced no such thing! In fact, the scent that the hotel uses is so lovely that we bought some to take home as gifts and I wish I could get refills. It is in a quiet area but there are convenience stores within easy walking distance where you can get pretty much anything you need. Lovely live music on authentic Japanese instruments was a special treat in the lobby. Beauty everywhere you look. We'd stay here again in an instant.…
i really loved the hotel i stayed for a week there, Food is great , lobby is amazing very calm and quite .. room size is good comparing to tokyo rooms .. service is amazing , also the train station is on the hotel basment
Very modern hotel and so friendly. Staff were amazing and very helpful. The hotel is in a chilled out part of Tokyo but great connections to the rest of vibrant Tokyo. A separate lift to the basement where there is the metro (Tameike-sanno) with connections to 4 metro lines to every part of Tokyo. Shibuya and Ginza around 5-10 mins from the metro!. There is also a 7-11 convenience store and coffee shop in the basement. The Japanese restaurant is a must and Chinese was also good but there are loads of places to eat outside the hotel as well. Just one minor point was the lack of USB charging points in the room. A great hotel for the business traveler but also for tourists.
Having had an excellent experience at this property back in 2015 (see my original review for further information), it was a no-brainer to book two deluxe King Rooms for three nights for a family trip to Japan. We arrived on March 29th late evening after a long trip from Europe. Upon checking-in we immediately felt we have reached a safe haven enriched by legendary Japanese hospitality. After a fews minutes we were comfortably lodged in rooms 2319 & 2320 and could rest perfectly. The property is still as we remembered it. Wonderfully architected, strategically located, awesome staff, great breakfast buffet. Perfect stay.
Everything is handled well, the reception, checkout, the restaurants, the special hotel bus to Narita. Had a nice room, liked the decor, the view, the bed - and it was quiet. Had a few business breakfasts and they were good - nice buffet, but above all a seating where you can talk discretely. Location was conveniently close to our offices in the Akasaka area. Walking distance. Highly recommended.
We stayed in a Premier Corner King room on the 24th floor. It was a spacious room with a large and comfortable bed and magnificent views over Tokyo. The bathroom was amazing with a spectacular bath and shower - if you are brave enough you can shower with a view of Tokyo (and Tokyo might have a view of you too!) The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. There is plenty of English spoken throughout the hotel. We had breakfast in Origami which was a generous buffet with plenty of options. There are other breakfast options in the arcade below the hotel if you are looking for something cheaper. The location in Akasaka right on some major metro lines made it easy to explore Tokyo, and to have some convenient eating places in Akasaka too. All in all a great hotel, and easily worth the price,…
After my Osaka adventure, I travelled to Tokyo. And the luxurious Capitol Hotel Tokyu accommodated me during my trip! The hotel’s location is ideal because it’s within the proximity of the city’s most popular attractions and main stations! And since Tokyo is the Capital of Japan, you’ll expect a lot of shopping centres, people (of course), and train stations that are so busy. BUT, The Capitol Hotel Tokyu made my stay comfortable and convenient! If we’re going to talk about my room, the amenities, the food, I will lose for words of how awesome they are. The view of the city from my room is a plus too! You would feel the Japanese vibe when you stay in this hotel. The hospitality of the staff is fantastic! If ever you’re planning a trip to Tokyo, The Capitol Hotel Tokyu is the best place to stay in. Luxurious, convenient, very welcoming, and comfortable (not to mention that it’s crazy clean). I would go back soon!…
