I enjoyed my stay at Chiyoda. It's a charming place, hidden away inside a small street, and was very quiet when I was there. The room was nice, and had a toilet and sink (although I'm a little mystified why someone decided to put a shelf right on top of the sink, so you can't lean over it). The showers...

Third time staying at Chiyoda Inn. It has changed a bit in the layout of the floor plans and they have a few multilangual staff at different shifts. My stay was pleasant and my room was made every day even it was New Year.

We stayed in a two person japanese style room, with enough room for two futons, our bags, and nothing else. That's all we need, but it might be cramped for some. The room and communal bathrooms were clean, and the coin laundry was a big help. The futons were comfortable enough, and we weren't bothered by any train noise, but...

The Chiyoda Inn was a nice combination of Japanese aesthetic and modern facilities. It's very close to a train station, although a little tricky to find because it's tucked away in a little side street. The front desk was clearly very used to dealing with foreign tourists, almost to the point that it felt a little hostel-like. (I think what...

We stayed at Chiyoda Inn one week from Dec. 21st to Dec. 28th 2015, before continuing our trip towards Kyoto and Hiroshima. It's a lovely guest-house with all the comforts you need. We liked it so much that we decided to book for our last two nights in Tokyo as well. The staff is very helpful and can speak English...

The first time I stayed was in 2012 when it was new (was open in 2011, I suppose). Second stay was this time in Dec, 2014. Good quality maintened but of course as time goes by, can't help aging which is normal. Keeping up with good standard in the hospitality and cleaniness of the inn. Good to meet other travellers...

I really wanted to like this place. I really did. There are so many great reviews here. I feel almost bad for writing an average review. The location is awesome. It's a very short walk to the metro station. There's no shortage of western (burger king, denny's) and local restaurants close by. The staff is friendly and speaks proficient English....

Nice place to stay and very near to Jr Minami-senju station.I really appreciate all staff at Chiyoda Inn, service mind and very kind of them. I stay here two periods. I leave my luggage here and when I'm back, my luggage is already in the room. Supermarket is near the hotel. I'll be back for sure. ;)

Our family had 2 rooms at Chiyoda Inn in late February 2014. While the rest of Tokyo was suffering a cold snap, we felt very warm and welcome by Shimpei and the other staff. We and our 2 adult children loved the place, spotless, quiet, comfortable and only a 2 minute walk through a quiet neighborhood to the railway station....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Chiyoda Inn is located in the Minamisenju area in Tokyo. The area recently has been attracting tourists from overseas and we have noticed that the feedback from them sometimes reminds us of the various beauties of Japanese culture. We are relearning long ignored cultural assets of this country from tourists. This experience inspired the renovation of the Chiyoda Inn which was one of the oldest accommodations in the area. The new Chiyoda Inn is our answer to “What can we offer to guests who would like to feel the air of Japanese room and stay comfortably?” We have nine rooms in Chiyoda Inn and each room is slightly different from the others. Each room is our room and your home in Tokyo.Enjoy your stay! ... more   less
