This place seems a little bit Liked a ghost hostel when we arrived. Nobody apart a worker inside. The food was very average, without fragrance. The room was enough big and clean but the humidity was not so Nice. You can fell that this place is really on decline... you must Like the lonelyness if you go There...

Thank you for your valuable review. We're sorry we did not fulfill your expectations. We are growing in sense of our quality and number of guests, probably you visited us on days when there was no major movement, like happens in every hotel. Definitely the hotel is dedicated to people who want to disconnect from everything, it is a very...

I spent 3 nights at this hotel and I only have positive things to say. The room was very nice, clean, the bed very comfortable and the vues amazing! The food was excellent, of great quality and prepared with much attention. The oatmeal and limonade are a must try! The surrounding was a feast for the eyes, birds, fruits trees,...

Very nice hotel, beautiful. The sauna is usually never open but the breakfast every morning is included and extremely delicious. The view and scenery is breathtaking, the town is gorgeous and the locals are fantastic. Rich culture. I would definitely stay there again. Only reason it's not five stars is that the lake in front is somewhat dirty and the...

Dear guest, thank you for your review. We agree, in a visit to Lake Atitlan you must go to San Juan la Laguna, one of the most tranquil and friendly community. About the sauna or temascal, we just ignite when our guests ask for it because as a Eco hotel we do not want to waste resources (in this case...

We enjoyed the quality of the members and the great views from our room. Excellence in the treatment and happy to have been there. The rooms are big and clean, and the breakfast was abundant and delicious. We would certainly come back and recommend it to anyone who wants to explore the Atitlan Lake.

If you want to get away from the cities and tourist areas, this is the perfect place to relax and unplug. Every room faces the lake and has an incredible view - they even have a hammock on each floor that you can swing in. It doesn't have wifi, but you don't need it here - it's all about being...

Dear guest! Thank you very much for your review. We are glad that you have a nice experience with us, that is what we want in all our guests. I just want to rectify that now we do have wifi! Finally, we get a nice contract with a local company (so difficult to find) you can connect only in the...

We really struggled to find a suitable place to stay on lago atitlan. As a young couple travelling for a long time, we were priced out of Santa Cruz, had heard that San Pedro was a dump of a partying scene and that the crass hippiness of San Marcos was too much until we came across this hotel (still more...

We were there just a couple of minutes and hated the place. The part in front of the lake is so dirty, it has a lot of algee. When we called for ask for details, they told us: in front of the hotel you will be able to swim... They are crazy If they think people will swim there.

Thanks for your comment, everything has been taken to improve the hotel. We sorry that you could not enjoy the charm of San Juan la Laguna. Great location right on the lake. Easy walk into town. Great friendly staff. Comfortable rooms, very spacious. A little rustic, but nice. Home cooked meals in the cozy dining room. Great breakfast. Dinner was good too, chicken or tilapia fish. Loved the big covered area in front of the rooms. If your looking for something different this is the place.
