This hotel is charming and has a pleasant little garden. The breakfast was a simple French one but the bread and croissants were good. There was something a bit faded and tired about the furnishings. I was a little alarmed at the lack of hygiene to see a duck waddle around the swimming pool.

Lovely old hotel near town and river walk. Nice grounds and pool although Receptionist could have been friendlier and more present ie. I had to call her as a Dutch family was waiting to check in and no one was there! We were given a ground floor room which was spacious and we had access to the lounge so it...

Lovely location near the river. Clean basic rooms. It seemed a bit strange that even though it was a suite, the bathroom was in one room and the shower in the other. It is a lovely town with lots of old architecture. The restaurant had excellent pizza! The walk along the riverbank after dark was very pretty with the way...

Stayed here for one night, a charming old building, our room was clean and spacious decorated in a very french style. We were greeted in a most pleasant fashion and had good safe parking for our classic car. While the room price seemed on the high side, our room had a lovely view across to the river, breakfast was nice....

We chose this hotel as a stopover on our way south to the Pyrenees. the location in the village is perfect, the building is lovely and the pre booked parking saved us worrying about what to do with the car! As to the hotel experience itself, we did think it was nothing special. The rooms were past their best. We...

This is a beautiful Manoir in a beautiful area. Perfectly situated for the town in a quiet area. The room was " shabby chic" and fitted the ambience however the bed was on the small side and the mattress " tired" . Good, powerful shower in ensuite washroom. Separate ensuite toilet. Swimming pool in gardens and sitting out area. Towels...

Having chose Argenton as a village to stay in on the way back from southern France to le harve,we hoped, from the number of logis in the area, it would fit the spot. Driving through we spotted a small sign for the hotel. Curiosity for small streets lead us to this delightful hotel. Madame was so polite and correct, and...

We stayed for one night on our way back to calais. On arrival our first reaction was wow. It is a charming house. We arrived on a very hot day and the swimming pool was a welcome sight. The rooms although not big are vlean and are decorated in keeping with the house. We would have liked to have opened...

We stopped here overnight on our way down south. The Manoir is a pleasant enough place. The room was fine if a little pokey. The place was clean, and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The garden was a very pleasant place to spend a sunny August end-of-afternoon - the kids in the pool, the parents on...

A very pretty hotel, hidden away next to the river in Argenton-sur-Creuse. Furnished in typically French traditional style, our room was in the annexe, Basic furnishings but clean and comfy bed. The owner was pleasant but not overly-welcoming and we found it a bit strange when we returned from our evening meal in the village (no restaurant in the hotel)...
