When we arrived it was a big surprise to see the convent. The building is really authentic and a bit like a small museum. The room we had was big with authentic furniture and we had even an extra bed. The breakfast was also very good, a free buffet. The convent is located close to the historic centre, and inside... Like most people we used this hotel as a stopover whilst making our way to northern France. Very impressive building , especially the ground floor with high vaulted ceilings and long expansive corridors. However the actual room was very ordinary, ever a bit drab, but have to say very clean and functional. Apart from seeing someone at the check in... More

On a hill overlooking the Ebro. Nearest part of the town ancient and quaint. Across the river modern and businesslike. Lovely strolling around. No pressures. Staff all very friendly, professional and helpful but very few in October. Spacious, lots of sitting areas and we loved it. People in the town open and friendly.

Stayed here on route to Bilbao Ferry. Was surprised by the scale and grandeur of this place. Ideal for visiting the old town and about 20 min walk from the city centre. The rooms were bright and clean, there was free Wifi and the staff were excellent. What more could you wish for?

The tuna and egg salad in the restaurant was very good. The staff were overall helpful. Bedroom and bathroom both large with a comfy armchair for those who don't wish to sit on the bed. Nice art in the public areas. No air con in the rooms so they would be excessively hot in midsummer. No mosquito screens we could... More

Great service, nice room. Good beds. Double bed more than big enough. No air condition, though. But still reasonable sleep quality. Car parking a bit difficult, but to be solved. Breakfast was great. Huge selection and great service from the kitchen.

I elected to have a nights stop on my way back to the ferry in Bilbao. This place is not far off the motorway and looked an interesting choice. The building itself is a little tired but beautiful never the less. The rooms are rather basic but more than adequate, especially at these prices. I got the impression that very... More

In the old town of Miranda de Ebro, situated on the hill in an old convent still partially used by a school on one side and on the other a hotel. Unfortunately the room are very basic, no air conditioning, small twin beds with a hard mattress, a small bedside cabinet and TV to match, so definitely no frills! Breakfast... More

Stopped of for one night on a long road trip. Beautiful architecture, very clean but simple rooms. We walked 5 min into the historical town centre and sat in the square with a beer watching people gather for the evening promenade and after a 7 hour drive it was a perfect chill session. Back up the hill for dinner in... More
