We had a very enjoyable 9 nights at the 18th Century Caserio de Mozaga which is situated in a rural area in the middle of the Island but within walking distance of two small supermarkets, one with a filling station. Our accommodation was a very comfortable suite of bedroom, sitting room and bathroom accessed from a picturesque courtyard. Our high...

We stayed for two nights at the beginning of Feb and found it a very comfortable hotel. It was cold while we were there so felt we didn't experience the hotel at it's best. there is a communal lounge area with a log burner which was great. The only reason that I didn't give 5 stars is that I hadn't...

Stayed here for four nights on a recent holiday in Lanzarote. If you like your hotels quirky and full of character then this is for you.We had an upstairs room that was perfectly adequate with all the facilities that one would need. There was also a lovely sitting area in the main building with a log burner and free coffee and tea...

we stayed a week in the suite in the main building which consists of a bathroom, sleeping room and sitting room. This is an old mansion and decorated in a pleasant rural way. Don't expect much modern luxury though, it's really rural and a bit faded, but still chic in a sort of grandmother style. Can be a bit chilly...

It was chilly when we arrived and there were fires blazing in the shared sitting room and the restaurant which made for a great welcome. In our suite, dehumidifiers helped to warm as well as to dry the air. Our suite was a true home from home, with the most comfortable bed ever, lovely cotton sheets, and a great sofa...

The Caserio is at the centre of the island so quite strategic to visit it. It is also close to the beautifull town of Teguise where you can find nice shops and the magic Sunday morning market. This small hotel ( 10 rooms ) gets full marks for food, staff and owner. We were treated like part of the family. We stayed in a suite which made the stay even more enjoyable. Mozaga is also ideal for touring the island due to its central location. Give our best wishes to Maria Luisa.

This is just the kind of property we love: smaller, charming, attractive, quiet, well-located. Attached is a restaurant with excellent food, acceptable local wines and very good service. So what could be better? Well - several things. January is nippy in Lanzarote and sadly the portable radiators could not keep pace with the chill in the air. We slept with...
