As others have commented the cave restaurant is stunning and the food excellent, although more franco belgian in style than Canarian. Our accommodation was somewhat disappointing with tired decor and bedding and stained rugs. The bathroom was particularly poor being very small which was compounded by terrible design and fitting. (eg it was impossible to wash ones face without banging...

Had a relaxing week here in a two bed, two bath apartment. The apartment had all we needed (though I wish I'd noticed there was no oven before I shopped!) and there was loads of space for a family of four. The views were fantastic but came at a price as it's a very steep drive up from Candelaria and...

I've just spent a relaxing week at Finca La Paz, with Marc and Marie, its owners, welcoming me with open arms. Finca La Paz is the hidden Tenerife – forget the packed, busy, noisy beaches of Las Americas and Los Cristianos, Finca La Paz is tucked away up the mountain, where all you hear at night is darkness. I also...

Spent a week in April at Finca La Paz. What a discovery!! We had a nice, well-eqipped one bedroom apartment with private patio with outstanding views to Candelaria and the ocean. the owners Marc and Marie could not have been more helpful. As noted by other reviewers the on-site restaurant "El Authentico" was superb. All in all a great centre...

We spent a week at the Finca la Paz at the end of september. We were glad to discover the peace and beauty of the place: nice flats with a well-equiped kitchen, clean and recent bathroom, swimming pool, beautiful view and lots of trees and green. The restaurant "el autentico" is just perfect to have a romantic dinner. The owners,...

A great discovery. Spacious accommodation, super views, away from the hubbub of town - and yet a good centre for exploring most of the island, including the spectacular Mt Teide and the crater area. Very friendly and helpful management, providing local brochures, maps and a DVD. Moreover, the on-site restaurant is excellent. Marie is a first-rate and sensitive cook, often...

Very quite and comfortable place (8 minutes from Candelaria/Ocean by car) with a stunning view on the Candelaria's bay. In addition, an outstanding restaurant "El Authentico" with french and canarian cuisines made by the owners who are very cooperative to make your stay pleasant.
