Really it was according expectations something is good. You will receive standard Ibis red service with a friendly staff that provide a great service. Parking is free something quite for working trips as mine. I probably willback soon because balance between quality and price is very good
We spent one night on our way to the South. Beds are very comfortable. You can park easily in the street. The underground parking that you see when you arrive does not belong to the hotel as the staff kindly advised us. Excellent breakfast and helpful staff.
This hotel chain not good wouldn't use them again no coffee making in room no room service offered had to go down into reception and pay for coffees in a poor neighbourhood with camera surveillance outside felt it wasn't a good area to walk round at night
A very clean room. Not the best of menu's but the specials were very nice. Excellent value for money. Recommended if you need to be in that area of Barcelona. Staff very efficient and pleasant. Second time staying at this hotel
We were 8 persons and sleep here one night in our journey to Italy. The rooms are nice, clean and the breakfast is ok. The zone is very quite with several restaurants arround. A good price/quality choice.
Good basic hotel. If you are wanting a place with all the trimmings, this isn't the place for you but as a simple place to stay, drink and shower, its ideal. It's a little far out if you are wanting to visit the city but it's not hard to do by train. The staff were welcoming and friendly and want to personally mention Carlos, who was lovely, helpful and chatty, even though he didn't always understand our English and broken Spanish, and pours a mean vodka and lemon. Top guy.
Very helpful and friendly couple working at Reception - we were late arriving but they still maNaged to get some food out for us and breakfast was very good too. Large and high underground parking which was free and allowed my tall car trailer to be parked securely with the car.
I can’t give the hotel less than 5 stars as it did everything I needed and expected it to. It’s not glamorous or instagrammable but it was cheap and comfortable. We stayed in room 428 which was spacious and even had a little view of the mountains in the distance. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was adequate and the air con was really good. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was a simple help yourself affair with some delicious mini pain au chocolat on offer. I didn’t book the hotel thinking it was going to be special, I just needed somewhere for us to shower and sleep and it provided just that for a really reasonable price. A taxi to the airport was around 45-50 euros and a little less to go into the centre of town. The closest train station is a ten minute walk away and the trains are cheap, frequent and comfortable. To be fair, Barcelona has amazing public transport services that are really easy to use so even if you stay further out of town it is no hardship. The hotel staff are more than happy to help point you in the right direction to get into Barcelona city centre. We found going to Catalunya was the best option, which is about 30 minutes by train. In hindsight, we may have been better staying a little closer to the main attractions as we were only in the area for two days but on the other hand the Ibis gave us a peaceful stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back. …
The hotel was pretty good, we enjoyed comfortable beds, neighborhood area was calm, the reception stuff was friendly. The breakfast was tasty, you have plenty of stuff to choose from. The room was spacey but it would be nice to add some table and extra chair (there was only one in our room). Overall our stay was pleasant and comfortable.
Wonderful welcome from staff who recognised our name as the same as a small town in the west of Ireland which we have visited! We were going to a concert at the Teatre Auditori Mercat Vell and they explained to us how to walk there safely and easily. They were very enthusiastic about their town.
