Stayed here one night. The resturant is very good with tasty meals. We felt the hotel is very tired and needs some updating . Our room had lovely view but damp patches in the bathroom and quite small. The people who run it were friendly and helpful, but it didn't seem spotlessly clean

I stayed here a few years ago when I visited my friend in Tuscany. This is a very beautiful hotel with great view over Tuscany and I remember having a great breakfast. I went back again this summer and again enjoyed an amazing lunch. I would recommend this place.

Just spent a week at the Albergo Quattro Gigli. The hotel is in a wonderful location, well situated for both Pisa and Florence as well as being only five minutes from the train station at San Romano that is on the direct line to both of these cities. This is a traditional, family run hotel and they really cannot do...

I stayed here for one night in Sept 2014 on a local visit to a one-off Argentine Tango social evening. The village sits on mountainous terrain with the street outside the hotel being extremely steep. On entering the hotel, I was charmed by the rustic elegance of centuries past... the furniture, the paintings, the decor, the ambience and certainly the...

The hotel is simply wonderful. It is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the best of Toscana. Our room had a beautiful view of the hills. Every corner of the hotel is so well taken care of. The restaurant is excellent! Homemade pasta and incredible attention! A MUST in Toscana!

We stayed here 2 nights during a bicycle tour. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The variety of quirky antique furnishings was fabulous, the room was spacious and comfortable and had a terrific view. The food was super, and the wait staff in the restaurant were very helpful explaining the menu which had no English translations. For bicycling, the...

We were just looking for a break in the drive from Pisa to Florence after arriving at Pisa airport in the late afternoon. This small but rambling hotel was an unexpected delight. Rooms are huge, corridors and staircases abound, festooned with antiques (well, we would call them antiques in Australia, but in Italy they are probably just interesting and whimsical...

As some others say, the beds are not great, but then again, the cost is so cheap you can't be expecting brand new Hilton super king beds either. The rooms are quite sizable, and the views from the rooms are amazing. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the wait staff are about as good as any money could buy....

We stopped here as it was a convenient stop over on a motorcycle trip. We did not expect great things. We were wrong. The hotel is a large old building over four floors. our room was a double on the second floor and the view from the balcony was stunning. The rooms, as you'd expect from a old building were...
