Nothing was like the photos from the hotel website. We planned to stay for three weeks but left after six nights. Uncomfortable, small room, with thin walls, made it hard too sleep since you could hear the people next door talking. Broken shower and constantly strange smell in the room. When it rained the windows where leaking water. The whole room cot flooded, suitcases and clothes got wet and ruined. The reception was really unhelpful. They did not care and was not willing to redeem us. When we checked out (fifteen nights earlier than planned), they first told us that wee would have to pay, not only for the original booking, but also an extra charge for leaving earlier than planned. After a long talk the hotel manager had us pay for the stay plus for fifteen nights after we left. He promised that he would try to refund us the day after but we never heard from him. Beside this, the area is a disaster, no restaurants, only cafes, serving bad dishes. The beach in front of the hotel was really crowded, with constantly loud music.…
The photos are misleading in Booking.com! For the beach you need to pay extra! Not included in the price... No internet in the rooms...(I thought repeaters are all around the world and cheap but not yet reached here) See the ground and have a feeling about what you will get...
Good hotel, what you'd expect from a 3 star. Sea view room balcony view is breathtaking, food is good but overpriced. WiFi is available but unreliable - a lot of disconnects and downtime. Free parking also available. Staff nice and polite but barely speaking English. Overall I'd recommend this place to anyone, good value for money and absolutely amazing location close to beautiful beaches and top rated restaurant in the area. Sea View room is a must!
I am writing this lying on a super hard bed, listening to snoring from the next room and tv noise from the room on the other side. Two positive points first. The aircon is great and you cannot bet this location right on the stunning beach. But it really makes me scratch my head that the overall experience here is kind of mean. It would be so easy for this hotel to offer an exceptional stay. The profile on booking.com states that every room has a balcony. Most of them seem to but at the back of the hotel (where we are) they are tiny and none seem to have even a chair. On our floor the rooms just have access to a communal terrace rather than a balcony. There are a few chairs for everybody to share. Our room is tiny. Our bed is very hard. Our bathroom door doesn’t close. The bathroom window is not frosted and has no blind so we have to drape a towel over the window to achieve some privacy. Booking.com said breakfast is “provided”, yes at a cost of €7each. It turns out that “included” and “provided” are not the same things. We specifically required Wi-Fi. There is Wi-Fi in the rooms but it is so slow it is impossible to use. This hotel is right next to the most gorgeous beach but they don’t have beach towels available. Additionally they don’t offer a laundry service. I’m sure there are better places to stay. Sadly we arrived here after having our expectations thoroughly exceeded by the last two places we stayed. Hotel Sud - you can do a much better job.…
We spent two weeks in Italy travelling to a few resorts we had picked. One was in the Sud Hotel, Pulsano. We stayed here for four days and what a switch off. The hotel is practically on the beach which is miles of sand and torquise water with free beds for guests. Our room was a suite with a balcony that had table and chairs and big enough to have a party. On arrival we requested twin beds which was not a bother to them, one of the two beds in the room adjoining the bedroom was made up immediately. The bedroom was large bright and airy had a fridge in the wardrobe. Breakfast was fantastic - plenty of tea and coffee, cereal, meat, cheese, fresh rolls and fruit. Barbara our waitress who had perfect English couldn't do enough for us. We were offered, omelette, scrambled eggs or boiled eggs every morning and always had a smile. Roberto the Manager was always very gracious and always had time for a chat. Martina on reception was so helpful and such a lovely person. She looked up bus timetables on the computer and gave us every assistance we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we hope some day to go back. Thank you all the staff for making our stay so memorable.…
