Detailed Reviews
This wasn't my first visit and like before it was fantastic! They've gone from being a B&B to self catering but the atmosphere is still the same. Spotlessly clean, and roomy, and John and Kathleen are still as welcoming. Not to mention they live on premises and make time for a sit down and a chat which is so very nice.
Great outside seating where you can just relax with a cuppa and people watch, read a book, or in my case watch workers replace the thatch on a cottage across the road..
They're in a great location for leaving the car parked and just walking anywhere in the village.

My husband and I just stayed here for 1 night, and highly recommend Kathleen for the warm welcome and comfortable bedroom with a soothing view of the harbour. Had a hearty but healthy start next day with fresh fruit, and superb homemade brown bread along with a generous but exactly-as requested cooked breakfast . Good value, great location and felt deeply relaxed after the visit-hope to return soon!.

I spent 4 glorious days at Creaden View B&B in Dunmore East last month. My room had a view of the beautiful harbor with sailboats bobbing in the water. I watched the sunrise each morning with a cup of hot tea from the pot provided in my room. The bathroom was modern with a large shower. The bed was very comfortable with upscale linens. The breakfast was the best full Irish breakfast I've ever had through my several journeys to Ireland. There was a continental breakfast choice, also. Kathleen Martin was friendly and helpful. When I bought a bottle of wine for my room and used the bathroom glass to drink it, she noticed when she cleaned my room and replaced it with a proper wine glass. I felt very welcomed. I highly recommend this B&B and plan on returning one day.

We stayed in Creaden View in March 2006 and found it to be a lovely B&B. It is situated in the upper village not far from the harbour.
Our room, although not large, was perfectly adequate for two persons and had a beautiful view out over the sea. The heating was on since it was a cold, rainy day so the room felt very cosy. It was nicely decorated and the bed had lovely bed linen. The room and the en-suite bathroom were spotlessly clean. The shower had good water pressure.
Breakfast was really good. The table was beautifully set. The full Irish breakfast was cooked to order, the home-made brown bread was delicious and the coffee was excellent.
Our hostess Kathleen Martin was very friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Overall our stay was a very pleasant experience and we will definitely go back to Creaden View. The cost per person was 30 Euro (low season) which represents excellent value.
At the moment Creaden View has six rooms but Kathleen is converting part of the house into a self-catering apartment so there will be only three rooms in future.
I can really recommend this B&B.

Lovely B and B right in the middle of Dunmore East on the road just down from the Haven Hotel towards the harbour. Room was spotless. Bed very comfortable. Nice sea view from window. Very good breakfast with wide choice including (as free extras) yogurt, blueberries, prunes and beautiful strawberries. Kathleen (owner) was very welcoming and helpful without being overbearing. Lovely lady. Seagulls were noisy and annoying for part of the night but it is a feature of the whole area I imagine, unsurprisingly given the location! If, or perhaps I should say, when I return to Dunmore East I will certainly stay at this B and B again. You will not do better and I wish Kathlenn and husband (who we didn't meet) all the best - they deserve to do very well.

My wife and I have just spent four glorious nights at Creaden View B&B for the Bluegrass Music Festival held in the village. John & Kathleen Martin are the superb proprietors, a wonderful couple and nothing was too much trouble for them. The B&B is ideally situated in the heart of the village, close to the harbour. Our room overlooked the gorgeous bay with sail boats moored up and fabulous sunrises for those early, early risers. The room is a good size equipped with TV and tea/coffee making facilities plus a large and very comfortable bed. The range of breakfast foods is enough to suit anyone, including fresh fruit. We had a delicious full Irish breakfast each morning, ample enough to keep us going until evening. At 75 Euros a night per room, you cannot go wrong.....trust me.

Sorry, I'm just a poster on TripAdvisor that has stayed at Creaden View in the past so couldn't say if they might have a room available. I can tell you John and Kathleen are wonderful hosts.
Try doing a search for them and the website will come up with the email where you can get some help. Good luck
