We rented a 3 bed house in Fisherman's Grove for Easter with three kids and the family dog. From the website the house looked clean and modern with a secure garden for the dog. For the price we paid for three nights we were disappointed to say the least. Upon arrival there was a musty / damp smell in the house. The grout in the en-suite shower was all mouldy. The power in both showers was very poor and difficult to use. The en-suite badly needs to be painted. The master bedroom bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. The hot plates on the hob were old and crumbly. The crockery and cutlery were also old and dated. On the upside the bed linen was very clean. The house itself is located in a nice area and close to the village and facilities.

Rented 2 houses a 3 bed and 4 bed from different owners, both houses were in pristine condition and very clean. Shower and decor in one house was a bit dated but was fine. The other house was bigger and brighter and had been recently furnished. Loved the log burning stoves, and shortcut to village... would definitely go back

Camping. Curfew wasn't enforced even though many people complained to owners about noise from a few people until 3 am. In fairness to the owners they have a refund. Otherwise the place was nice and clean. There's a bar and restaurant close and also a golf course.

We booked through Trident Holiday Homes.

The house in Fishermans Grove was fantastic. Large and spacious and very clean.

Most things in Ireland seemed expensive, but the accommodation was fantastic value. We would certainly recommend it to others.

For one, not recommended for kids. It’s basically just a field with no security or curfew enforcing. No CC TV, wife did not feel safe. Asked to move pitch, told not able to, then noticed owner later in the day telling other people they could move. You have to cross a road to the toilet facilities. There was no lighting at all when it got dark. Not ideal when you need to go toilet during the night. Not enough electrical points, badly positioned, the electrical points had splitters on them(not safe) and every time someone boiled a kettle it caused power cut! Had to keep flipping power switch back on! Showers had no proper ventilation, going in after other people’s shower was like walking into a Shauna. Left a day early and complained repeatedly on deaf ears. No refund offered either. Don’t typically complain much but still fuming from our experience. I hope they address this feedback, it’s an amazing area I love!
