Naqalia was the first place my husband and I visited on our recent honeymoon, and we will never forget it. Although it was definitely the most basic in terms of room quality and size of resort, it's the place we have the fondest memories of because of the extremely welcoming peop

Bula and thank you for visiting the Naqalia Lodge family. Naqalia Lodge is not a luxurious Resort. Facilities are basic with NO HOT WATER or AIR CON Thank you for your understanding. As one of the guests had said "you leave America to visit Fiji. You did not leave America to visit another America" and that is what Naqalia Lodge is. To experience Fiji, it's people, the food we eat and the way we live. Thank you so much for the wonderful comment

Like a home stay except on the beach. If you love friendly people, home cooking, and hearing the waves all night, you will love this place. Very basic bar but wine, beer, and the hard stuff. The fish at dinner was amazing. Wonderful hiking. Lovely, lovely people.
