Sant'Agata near Benevento is a charming old historic town dating back to pre-Roman times, full of churches with many lovely works of art. It was a very important crossroads in ancient times but today is probably better known as the hometown of the ancestors of Bill !Di Blasio, mayor of New York ! If you like good interesting wines and...

Completely recommend staying here and would advise half board as the wine and food is excellent. The owner arranged a tour of her historical winery in the cellars of the village. Air conditioning excellent. Our room had access onto a large terrace and fine views were to be had of the surrounding town and countryside. We had access to a...

This hotel was recommended by family for a 2 night stay as we were not disappointed. The town of Sant'Agata de' Goti is beautiful and this hotel was right in the centre of the old town. We were lucky to have a room with a separate lounge area that overlooked the courtyard. On the first night we stayed there was...

We has a wonderful Saturday with Paola and her staff. We started out with a cooking class with Maria, followed by a snack and a bottle of their Falanghina, a winery tour with Paola and then lunch (we ate what we made, spruced up by Maria! and more wine tasting (3 bottles of wine and a dessert wine.) I highly...

Good location in heart of lovely old town. Interesting old building, with lovely courtyard and murals. The place had an air of faded grandeur (in a nice, authentic, way!). Very good breakfast in one of the nice dining rooms. The staff didn't speak any English - this wasn't a problem for us, but might be for some people. The building...

Our lunch at the Agriturismo Mustilli (possible if booked in advance, at least if guests of the hotel are eating that day) was an exceptional experience of traditional Italian cooking, never to be forgotten. With perfect care of the local produce, the two hour journey of antipasti, primo, secondo and dolce remimded us that true simplicity perfectly executed can result...

My friends and I drove from downtown Naples to experience the Mustilli winery and town. Paola Mustilli was so welcoming and very proud to show us her family's cellar and taste their delicious wines. We even had the opportunity to bring our dogs with us! Even though we only had the day to go, we can't wait to stay at...

One of the loveliest weekends we've ever had was at this beautiful home/ hotel in the medieval walled town of Sant'Agata dei Goti, one hour drive from Naples. Our suite was exquisite, magically quiet and very comfortable. Delicious breakfast. The hotel is run by the Mustilli family, producers of excellent organic wines. The family was very gracious and hospitable. They...

I just can't say enough good things about our stay at Agriturismo Mustilli. Paola Mustilli is a delight as is the little town of Sant' Agata De Goti where the Mustilli house is located. We were welcomed so warmly that the two days we spent went by way too quickly. The house/villa is wonderfully old and historic while offering all...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Mustilli’s agriturismo is situated in a quiet square in the old centre of Sant’Agata dei Goti, next to an old convent. An ideal location for travellers who love friendly family hospitality and strong traditional flavours. In a warm, welcoming, homely atmosphere, visitors sleep between ancient walls and awaken to the aroma of freshly-baked cakes. The countryside is nearby and in autumn the town’s streets are filled with the aromas of the harvest, blending with warm bread, the flavour of local cheeses and the famous house wines, creating a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The cuisine is the feather in Mustilli’s cap, supervised directly by Marilì, expert cook and perfect hostess. The traditional flavours of Campania are given a touch of creativity and passion: homemade pasta with seasonal sauces, wild mushrooms and asparagus, local meat, cheese and the famous annurca apples of S. Agata dei Goti to be enjoyed fresh, baked or in delicious cakes. There are six rooms, on the second floor of the 18th century Palazzo Rainone, all different and all carefully furnished with the family’s own antiques. The balconies have a magnificent view of the town of Sant’Agata dei Goti, against a backdrop of hills and countryside. ... more   less
